CREATE YOUR OWN WEBSITE

1. Sign up with www.weebly.com for a free website

2. Create a Site. Choose not for selling.
3. Choose a theme that matches your aesthetic.
Pay attention to Font and Layout.
4. Hit “start editing.” Choose “Use a Subdomain of Weebly.com.”
Find an available site title and click “Continue.”

5. Build your website to include the following pages:

Home- Include images of your artist book

Performance- Include documentation of your 2 Erwin Wurm one-minute

sculptures.
Site Specific- Include any materials and writing that illustrates your site-

specific installation.
Social Practice - Include any materials and writing that illustrates your

social practice piece.

Sound Art – Include your sound art piece either by uploading to youtube

and using the youtube button or linking a button on your site to google
drive. If you piece incorporates video, a location, an object etc., please

include documentation.
Environmental Art- Include a few images of your Goldsworthy sculpture.

Include several images of your Found & Recycled Paper/Object Project.

Presentation- Include your artist presentation either using the scrib’d

button or a button that links to the google drive. *Note: it helps to convert
your presentation to a pdf to reduce the file size and increase the
changes that scrib’d will upload it. Do not pay for extra space.
Self-Directed- Include all documentation of your final project. Include your

artist statement.
6. Make sure that you delete all images provided by weebly.
7. Upload your images to the website
Take screenshots of your work and use those to upload to the site
Command+Shift+4, Make a new folder for your “Web_Images”
8. Please make sure that your images are not stretched or pixelated.
9. Please make sure that you spell-check every page.
10. Ready to go live? Hit “Publish” and share your URL on our class google doc:
