IOT based University Route

Description:
Bus tracking is an application that tracks a bus and gathers the distance to each station
along its route. Tracking System involves the installation of an electronic device in a bus,
with an installed Android App on any SMART phone to enable the Administrator/User to
track the bus location. Based on IoT this project is implemented as android application.
There are two applications one for server and the other for the client. Buses carry GPS
devices to track their positions. By this positions to server are periodically updated.
Client application displays map showing the position of bus. It shows where buses are
on a map and provide students and staffs the updated information at different time
interval. It is a real-time system as this method automatically sends the information on
the GPS system to a system/SMART phone. The students/staffs can get flexibility of
planning travel using the app, to decide when to catch the bus. Arduino UNO
microcontroller is used to programming for software and hardware module. And it is
connected to the cloud and following through the android app. The waiting time of the
user can be reduced. Simple mode of communication is the key feature of the Bus
Tracking system.

Requirements:
An App like Uber or careem developed on Android Studio.
And some other electronic devices for location tracker and massage system.
Smart Mirror using Raspberry pi

Description:
A mirror is an essential part of everyone’s daily routine. What if they could look into the
mirror and see something more than themselves? What if your mirror could let you to
know that you have an important business meeting at 4 PM today? What if the mirror
could tell you that it’s cold outside and recommend you to wear a sweater? For this
purpose, we introduce an interactive Smart Mirror. A Smart Mirror is capable of
displaying the date, time, weather and traffic conditions on its reflecting surface.
These features will be obtained from the internet and implemented using the Raspberry
Pi. The Raspberry Pi runs Raspbian Jessie with PIXEL Operating System (OS). A common
approach to building a Smart Mirror is to use a sheet of two-way acrylic mirror, a
monitor, a frame to hold the glass and monitor, and a web browser with JavaScript to
provide the software features and drive the display.
Additional Work we can do after completing this is Smart Mirror can also be upgraded
to display browsers and social media websites. Adding a motion sensor to the mirror will
further increase the speed, ease of use, and will provide another interface for
interaction. Now we can get dressed and read the news or watch YouTube videos all at
the same time and from a convenient place. The Smart Mirror can also help in
developing smart houses with embedded artificial intelligence, as well as finding its
applications in industries.

Requirement:
1. Raspberry pi 3
2. LCD (Touch LCD)
3. Mirror
4. Frame
