INTRODUCTION

Features and Specification

Improvised remote control boat as garbage collector for waterways is a useful device

for cleaning up the polluted waterways with floating assorted garbage such as creek, canal,

stream, and river. This device is design in order to help the advocates in maintaining the

cleanliness of the waterways from any floating garbage. The design of the device was made

very simple and easy to maneuver using only the remote control. There were 2 styro mover

(improvised boat) installed with 1 RC receiver, 1 battery holder powered with 3 volts dry

cell, 2 propeller for the water that directly attached to the RC receiver. To level up the force

of movement of the styro mover it is installed with another 2 DC motor but this time the

propeller is for the wind and this is powered with 6 volts dry cell each styro mover. These 2

sytro movers is simultaneously operated with two RC transmitter. There is a 1 ½ meter of net

catcher attached both port side and starboard side of the sytro mover. Thus the operator has

less chance of skin direct contact of the polluted body of water because the operator would

just simply use the remote control to move forward, backward, and then move to the left and

right while collecting the assorted floating garbage on the waterways. Since this improvised

device is made from Styrofoam then the weight is lighter, enough weight needed to move the

improvised boat during the operation. This lightweight is necessary for the improvised boat

or the sytro movers to carry the ½ kl of floating garbage in the waterways. Thus, this styro

movers were designed to float on water, Vork (2017). Innovating this device is very timely

relevant in to solve the issue of waterways floating garbage.

Market Trends and Opportunities

Waterways are channels or passages of water in the earth’s land surface. There are six

main types of waterway identified and these are river, canal or stream, brook, creek, drain

and ditch. These waterways are commonly found in both rural and urban areas. In fact in

rural and urban setting waterways are used for navigation, crop irrigation, water supply, or

drainage (Davies and Marsh, 2019). But its uses were overwhelmed with negative and serious
2

issue of Garbage disposal on its body of water and considered as water pollution. In fact

according to Richmond (2019) despite of the environmental regulations that protect the

quality of streams, lakes, and wetlands, solid waste in the form of trash, litter, and garbage

often ends up in these surface waters. Because surface waters collect in low-lying areas,

anything that is dropped or blown into a watershed can eventually reach a drainage way. In

urban areas, trash and litter (general terms for dry solid waste) often are transported by storm

water runoff. In both urban and rural areas, these items sometimes are illegally dumped

directly into a water body or wet land, or deposited along riverbanks or lakeshores and

becomes water pollution. This problem is also true in the Philippines in which the identified

creeks, canals, streams and rivers are already polluted with floating garbage and

contamination of biological and chemical hazards. The common factors of this water

pollution come from domestic sources, both solid waste and sanitation. For instance, all

wastes including plastics thrown into rivers and creeks by informal settlers living along

waterways are being blamed for causing the water levels to rise as they block the natural flow

of rivers and creeks (Arranza 2017). In which this issue is also common in Cabadbaran City

waterways such as creeks or canal, stream, and river.

However, waterways clean-up drive was the best solution implemented by the

different organization and agencies bringing the same purpose of ensuring that the

Cabadbaran City waterways should be clean and if possible free from floating garbage.

Though it was only the simple way, it still helps in cleaning polluted water, but this initiative

was considered not the safest way in combating water pollution. Waterways clean-up drive is

the process of engaging people to remove trash and debris from beaches and waterways, to

identify the sources of the litter, and to change the behaviors that cause pollution. This

activity based on observation is done through direct contact of the person who performs such

process (waterways clean-up drive). According to Denchak (2018) waterways are drowning

in chemicals, waste, plastic, and other pollutants. Studies found out that industrial waste

water that goes to oceans or rivers and other waterways contains chemical pollutants such as
3

chromium, cadmium, lead, mercury, and cyanide, which if humans were exposed in a long

period of time, may possibly cause life-threatening diseases (Andrews, 2018).Therefore,

conducting waterways clean-up is not safe for human bodies because of a direct contact with

contaminated or polluted water. Thus, innovators of Cabadbaran City National High School

(CCNHS) were challenged by this certain issue knowing that Cabadbaran City is abundant

with bodies of water and population grows rapidly which causes water population. In

addition, ESWM organization of CCNHS adopts a stero which aims to maintain the

cleanliness of bodies of water in Cabadbaran City. They wanted to improvise a device that

will help Cabadbaranons to clean bodies of water without having any chances of skin contact

contamination of the polluted waterways.

This improvised remote control boat as garbage collector is comparable in its function

to a machine available in the market known as conveyor transfers waste to storage area

machine, manufactured by Aquarius Systems USA so far not yet available in the Philippine

market. The storage capacity ranges from 10-20 cubic meters plus the production rate is 15 -

20 loads per shift (CleanTech,2009). However, the machine is describe as expensive

compared to this improvised remote control boat as garbage collector for waterways in which

the improvised waterways floating garbage can collect as much as ½ kilo per operation and

considered as functional.

Theory and Concept of the Innovation

This study is anchored in the theory of preventing people in acquiring life-threatening

disease due to cleaning polluted water. According to this theory, polluted water contains

chemical pollutants such as Chromium, Cadmium, Lead, Mercury and Cyanide. If human

bodies will have a direct contact with this chemical pollutants and if they were exposed in

long period of time, they can possibly acquire and serious illnesses (Neslen, 2016). Thus, this

improvised device will help people clean polluted water without them having a direct contact

with the water itself. Therefore, assembling a device promote safety to the advocates of the

cleanliness of the water ways in the community.

4

Assembling a device that will help people in cleaning polluted bodies of water will

depend on the design, application of electronic units, its specification and function. This

water cleaning device that will clean polluted water should be made of recycled electronic

components, net catcher, wires, 2 RC transmitters, 2 RC receivers and powered by 6 volts

AA battery. To in place the assembled components, two fabricated styro movers (improvised

boat) was used. This styro movers were designed to float on water, Vork (2017) and was

strongly attached so that the assembled components will not move freely during the

collection of garbage.

The concept of operation of the assembled water cleaning device is simple because it

was controlled by the two operators. Once the two operators saw garbage on the surface of

the water ways, they would simply control the device using the repaired joy stick to collect

the garbage. The water cleaning device was connected with a net catcher in both movers. So,

the movers would move to the direction where the garbage was found, in a synchronized

movement. In that way, the garbage would be trapped within the net connected to the movers.

The movers would then drag the net catcher with garbage towards the shore line. This

function would greatly help the people in cleaning polluted water ways without direct skin

contact with humans to polluted water.

Objectives:

This innovation was designed as a water ways cleaner called improvised remote

control boat garbage collector for polluted water ways without having a direct skin contact of

the person. Furthermore, this study aims to:

1. described the specification, installation and operation of the improvised remote

control boat as garbage collector for the polluted water ways.

2. test the maximum distance of signal transmission, from the remote control transmitter

to the receiver unit of the improvised remote control boat garbage collector.

3. determine the weight of floating garbage that a 100 cm length by 12.5 cm width net

catcher of the improvised boat garbage collector can carry.

5

4. test the maximum hours of operational function capacity of the improvised remote

control garbage collector for water ways based on 7 testing periods, in a fully charge

battery.

5. determine the functionality rate of the improvised remote control boat garbage collector in

three different identified water ways: canal, stream, and river in a normal flowing condition.

Significance of the Study

The use of recycled remote control boat as garbage collector for polluted water ways

was a great help for the community. It can reduce the waste especially in the steros, canals,

streams and river areas. It also helps the person who cleaned the area not to have direct

contact on the polluted water ways.

Scope and Limitations

The device is powered by 6 volts AA Battery and controlled by a repaired remote control.

The components were made from the recycled electronic parts from the junk toys and

electronic gadgets. The body casing as flat form was made from a styro foam. There was a

consideration of the net catcher specifically the length of the installed net catcher. After

assembling, the device was tested in a pond and in the final testing was done in canal only.

Therefore there was no testing conducted in other water ways such as river, stero and

streams.

Reviews

Background on Waterways Condition

Modern society too often views water as a convenient vehicle for disposing of waste

and the results are becoming increasingly apparent. In fact, the analysis of freshwater

supplies frequently reveals disturbing levels of pollution, including human waste, heavy

metals and synthetic chemicals, to the detriment of our health, and the health of entire

ecosystems (Stauffer, 2013).

6

Furthermore, waterways are vulnerable to pollution. Common sources are the toxic

substances from farms, towns, and factories are readily dissolve and mix with it (Denchak,

2018).

Philippine Context on Waterways Pollution

The Philippines is a developing nation that has experienced a rapid rise in

urbanization and industrialization as its population has grown rapidly. Unfortunately, due to a

lack of sufficient and effective sewage treatment infrastructure, only about 10 percent of the

sewage in the Philippines is properly treated. Much of this waste is directly discarded into

waterways, particularly in low income urban areas that lack sufficient infrastructure to

support proper treatment of this waste (GREENTUMBLE, 2015). Thus, there is a need to

solve this problem through waterways cleaning.

Advocacy on Waterways Cleanliness

Advocacy on the waterways maintenance from garbage disposal is now become a

popular activities of the different organizations in the country because waterways are very

important to the health of people, our food sources, aquatic species and the environment

(Source: Liverpool City Council). In addition, in order to ensure that the water ways must be

free from unnecessary garbage that can cause sometimes flooding or overflowing stero or

canal, including rivers and stream that would eventually cause a problem in the nearby

community.

However this effort become an issue to the advocates due to the fact that most of the

water ways used as the dumping cite for garbage disposal are identified to be polluted in all

forms of pollution including bio-hazard pollution. Therefore, cleaning this water ways can

cause accidental skin contact of the polluted or contaminated water ways that would lead to

skin problem. Thus, there is a need to look for a solution to avoid skin contact of the water

ways during clean-up activities in the water ways. This statement became the basis of the

present researcher to improvise a remote control boat as garbage collector for water ways that
7

somehow can be useful in the clean-up activities of the advocates on the cleanliness and

maintenance of the water ways in the country.

MATERIALS AND METHODS

In order to justify the stated objectives of this innovation, descriptive method was

employed in this improvised remote control boat as garbage collector for populated water

ways in order to statistically and verbally describe its functionality after testing the

improvised unit.

Materials Needed:

The following are the materials needed in innovation: Styrofoam, soldering lead,

electrical tape, glue stick, battery holder, ballpen tube, net, plastic rope, nylon thread, latex

paint, paint brush, propeller, DC motors, RC receiver and RC transmitter.

Tools:

In assembling and installing this improvised remote control boat as garbage collector,

the following tools were needed: flier, cutter, soldering gun, glue gun, tester, scissors

Methods

In installing, assembling and testing an improvised remote control boat as garbage

collector for polluted water ways the following procedures were scientifically observed and

followed:

A. Styro Foam Mover (improvised boat) Fabrication.

Fabricating the two flat-form of the improvised device was the first step in the

improvisation. This flat-form known as the mover (improvised boat) was the base or casing

of the installed electronic units that functioned as the driver of the improvised mover (boat)

device. Using this styro foam in this project is advantage because its weight reductions is up

to 50% thus it floats on body of water (Hamburg, 2016). This was done by cutting and

forming the Styrofoam using the cutter into two pieces of boat shape flat-form that again

would serve as the base for the two movers (improvised boat). There were two sytro foam

mover (improvised boat) were fabricated using styro foam. See Figure 1
9

Figure 1: Styrofoam as the body of the two movers

(improvised boat)

B. Electronic Components and Wiring Installation in the Two Movers (improvised

boat).

Assembling and installation of the electronic components in the styro foam flat-form

was the second steps in the improvisation process. The innovators collected different

component parts from the children toys and connected all the necessary parts. The following

are the 4 units of DC motors, 4 units of profilers, 2 pcs. of dry cell holder with cover, 2 unit

of RC receiver and then wirings. The following steps were carefully followed.

Step 1. Installation of the RC receiver in the two improvised boat.

This was done by placing the RC receiver at the center of the improvised boat then

fixed it using the melted glue stick. Then connect the wires using the melted soldering lead to

the two terminals of the RC receiver. After that, repeat the installation procedure to the

second improvised boat.

Figure 2. Wiring a RC transmitter

10

Step 2. Installation of the two DC motor with the propeller and connector in

the rear part of the improvised boat.

This was done by installing and fixing the two DC motor with the propeller and

connector in the rear portion of the improvised boat. The two DC motor should be placed

adjacent to each other at the rear part of the improvised boat. In order to elevate the

placement of the DC motor, the innovator added a cut out styro foam with 2 inches in height

and fixed it in the flat form of the improvised boat where the DC motor was also placed or

situated. Then fixed the wirings of the DC motor and connect it with the wirings of the RC

receiver. Repeat this procedure in the other improvised boat.

Figure 3. Wiring a DC motor

Step 3. Installation of the additional DC motor and propeller in the two styro mover.

The additional DC motor were installed at the center of the styro mover, this is made

by fixing the unit using the heated glue stick. Then next was the installation the propeller

holder, then battery holder was also installed at the front of the styro mover. After the

installation of the additional unit connections of the wires from the battery holder to the DC

motor. To ensure the off and on procedure of the unit, an installation of the switch was also

created

Figure4. Additional Propeller

11

Step 4. Installation of the battery holder in the front portion of the improvised boat.

To do this just fixed the battery holder in the front portion of the improvised boat

using the melted glue stick. Then soldered the wirings in the battery holder. After that

connect the battery holder wirings to the RC receiver. Repeat this procedure to the other

improvised boat.

Figure 4. Installation of Battery Holder

Step 5. Installing and wiring the RC receiver and DC motor in two movers

(improvised boat)

This time the improvised boat was equipped and wired with the electronic

components needed. To mention again these are the RC receiver, DC motor with propeller

and connector, and the battery holder with 6 volts dry cell. Then test the function using the

tester. See Figure 5

Figure 5: Installing and wiring the RC receiver and DC motor

in two movers (improvised boat)
12

C. Installation of the Empty Ball Pen Tube to the two Movers. The installation of the ball

pen tube was done by inserting the empty ball pen tube to the improvised hole in the side

portion of the mover. The purpose of the ball pen tube is to hold the garbage net catcher in

both movers. Therefore two movers (improvised boat) will carry the installed garbage net

catcher. Then using the melted glue stick, fixed firmly the installed empty ball pen tube in the

improvised boat to avoid movement during the operation.. See figure 6.

Figure 6. Installation of empty ball pen tube in

both movers (improvised boat)
D. Garbage Net Catcher Installation

Garbage net catcher is considered as one of the important parts of the improvised

remote control boat as garbage collector. This unit will serve as the catcher of the garbage on

the water ways. This is made of nylon thread measured at about 100 cm in length and 12.5

cm in width. This net was attached to a nylon thread that serves as the holder of the garbage

net catcher both ends, then this nylon thread with garbage net catcher was inserted to the

empty ball pen holder installed in the two movers. To maintain the floatation of the garbage

net catcher, it is installed with styro foam floater to the upper line of the net catcher. Then

after assembling of the net catcher, the net catcher was installed in both sides of the

improvised boat. See figure 7.

13

Figure 7. Assembling the garbage net catcher with nylon

thread and styro foam floater.

E. Assemble the RC transmitter

To assemble the RC transmitter, just in place the RC transmitter unit to the

improvised remote control casing. Then place 2 pcs. of 1.5 volts dry cell. And then test using

the tester to check the function of the RC transmitter. There were two assembled RC

transmitters for the two 2 RC receiver installed in the two movers. See figure 8

Figure 8. Assembling the two RC transmitters

on the improvised casing.
F. Initial testing:

Place the two movers to the pond, then first test the first mover using the RC

transmitter, this is done by pushing the button forward to allow the RC receiver antenna to

receive the control moving of the rover forward then, next push the button of the RC

transmitter backward to allow the RC receiver antenna to receive the control moving

backward. Then record the result. Then repeat this procedure to the second mover. The

purpose of this initial testing is to find out if the installed RC receiver, RC transmitter, DC

motors and wiring process is functional then record the initial testing result. See figure 9.
14

Figure 9. Initial testing of the two movers on its functionality aspect.

G. Final testing:

Place the two improvised boats with garbage net catcher to the identified open canal

full of floating garbage. To operate the device just push the button simultaneously of the two

remote control to allow the two improvised boat to move forward towards the floating

garbage, Repeat this procedure 7 times to obtain the maximum functionality. After final

testing at canal do the same procedure in the stream, and then in the river. Then record the

observed data. The data recorded includes the following: maximum distance of transmission

of signal, weight of the floating garbage carried by the improvised boat, the duration of the

improvised boat operation, and the three water ways (canal, stream, and river) evaluation of

the functionality of the improvised boat.

H. Data Collection:

Record the observable data after the testing assembled improvise remote control boat

as garbage collector for polluted water ways both initial and final testing. This procedure is

very significant because the collected data will be used during the data analysis.

I. Data Analysis:

Qualitative data obtained during the testing of the improvise remote control boat was

transformed and converted into a quantitative distribution. Mean was used for all the obtained

data in one trial and two actual switching on.

RESULTS AND DISCUSSION

This part of the report describes the improvised remote control boat as garbage

collector for polluted water ways. The main purpose of this part is to show the result of the

testing of the innovated device particularly its function.

The specification, installation and operation of the assembled recycled remote

operated boat as garbage collectors in polluted water.

Table 1: Specification, installation and operation of the recycled remote operated boat as

garbage collectors in polluted water.

The completed improvise project is composed of assembled RC receiver installed in the

improvised styro mover (improvised boat), improvised garbage net catcher, and the repaired

RC transmitter. This project is powered with 6 volts of dry cell in each mover (improvised

boat). This battery is placed in a battery holder in place on the styro mover. Table 1, shows

the summaries of the specification, installation and operation of the created device.

Table 1. The specification, installation, and operation of the improvised remote control
boat as garbage collector for water ways.
Improvised boat made of styro foam cut into a boat shape following the

desired measurement.

The improvised remote control boat has 8 batteries, 2 battery holder, 8

DC Motors, 8 Propellers, 2 RC receiver, 2 transmitter, 1 net catcher,

2pairs of ball point pen tubes, These are the components needed to

Specification assemble to two movers (improvised boat).

Then 1 unit of 100 cm in length by 12.5 cm width of garbage net

catcher. And also 2 pcs of empty ball pen tube with nylon thread. Then 2

units of repaired RC transmitters. 5 meters electronic wires.

Assemble all the necessary components in the flat form

Installation Put the one pair of the empty ball pen tubes in the rear part of the two

movers and put the thread inside of it.

17

Stitch the garbage net catcher around the thread.

Stitch the three small floaters above the stitched garbage net and fixed.

To be sure that the assembled improvised remote control boat as garbage

collector for polluted water ways is functional just simply put the unit in

the pond. Then try.

Turn on the switch to run the center propeller.

Operation Hold the joy-tick forward or backward. To turn to left, hold the forward

and left joystick. Vice versa. For the reverse movement, hold the back and

left joystick. And vice versa. Repeat this operation in the second mover.

Test the maximum distance of the signal transmission, from the remote control

transmitter to the receiver unit of the improvised remote control boat garbage collector.

In order to determine the maximum distance of signal transmission of the RC

transmitter, the researcher tested the unit seven (7) times on actual location, the canal.

Simultaneously testing was conduct in the two units of RC transmitter to the two RC receiver

installed in the two mover (improvised boat). Table 2. Shows the result of the simultaneously

testing.

Table 2: Distance that the two remote control can transmit signal to
the two RC receiver installed on the two improvised boat.

Trial 4 200 cm Signal was successfully transmitted

Trial 5 250 cm Signal was successfully transmitted

Trial 6 300 cm Signal was successfully transmitted

Trial 7 350 cm No transmission of signal

18

Table 2 shows the observed transmission of signal from the two repaired RC

transmitter to the two RC receiver installed in the two movers (improvised boat) in a

simultaneous testing. It shows that the two RC receiver could still receive transmission signal

from the two RC transmitter in a maximum distance of 300 cm that is equivalent to 3 meters

away from the RC transmitter. This means that the improvised remote control boat as garbage

collector is functional in terms of signal transmission in a 3 meters distance in a cleaning

operation. This finding will justify the idea that the greatest advantage to radio-frequency

remote is their range, if it is in condition it can transmit up to 100 feet from the receiver an

equivalent of 30.8 meters (Jaiden, 2019), but in a repaired RC transmit unit the signal

transmission decreased to lower range from 8 meters to 3 meters. Therefore, this project

using repaired RC is recommendable.

Determine the weight of floating garbage that a 100 cm length by 12.5 cm width net

catcher of the improvised boat garbage collector can carry.

Determining the efficiency of the installed garbage net catcher with the measurement of 100

cm length by 12.5 cm width in the improvised remote control boat is necessary in order to

assess the functionality of the project. The assessment includes the number of centigram of

floating garbage that the net catcher can carry and the movement of the mover (improvised

boat) per testing period. There were 7 testing periods conducted in a fully charge battery.
19

Table 3 shows the efficiency of the 100 cm length by 12.5 cm width garbage net catcher

installed in the improvised remote control boat. Out of 7 testing periods the data revealed that

the garbage catcher is functional to carry the assorted floating garbage from trial 1 up to trial

4 only. That means that the capacity of the garbage net catcher to carry the garbage is

effective only from 30 cg to 50 cg based on the result of the testing conducted. What is

interesting in the result is it clearly shows that the garbage net catcher attached in the

improvised boat was efficient to carry the floating garbage. The same findings of (Stewart,

2019) on her sophisticated remote control boat, TrashBot herds garbage into designated

locations, where it is then collected and sorted her project was simple and effective. Based on

the result the maximum carrying capacity of the net catcher is up to 50 cg which is equal to ½

kilo and the movement of the improvised boat is still fast. Therefore the project is useful and

efficient in a cleaning operation in the waters ways.

20

The maximum minutes of operational function capacity of the improvised remote

control boat as garbage collector for water ways based on 7 testing periods, fully charge

battery.

Testing the operational function capacity of the improvised remote control boat is important

in this present study in order to support the justification that the project is efficient and

functional particularly the maximum minutes that the device can operate or function.

Table 4. Shows the maximum minutes of operational function capacity of the

improvised remote control boat as garbage collector for water ways based on 7 testing

periods, fully charge battery. It reveals that the maximum minutes that the improvised remote

control boat has a maximum time of 8 minutes operational function capacity only. This

means that the device cannot exceed beyond 8 minutes of operation, Furthermore, the

improvised device has limitation, therefore the clean-up drive could last only 8 minutes of

operation. However, the 8 minutes operation is quite good because based on the data result on

the number of kilo that the net catcher can catch is 50 cg that is equivalent to ½ kilo of
21

floating garbage on the bodies of water. This means further that in every 8 minutes of

operation ½ kilo of garbage will be taken out in the water ways, therefore if the operator will

do 4 operation in a day that means 2 kilos of floating garbage in the water ways will be

removed. Thus, the improvised remote control boat is of great help to the advocates in

cleaning the waterways.

The functionality rate of the improvised remote control boat garbage collector in

three different identified water ways: canal, stream, and river in a normal flowing

condition.

Functionality rate variable of the improvised device for water ways is important to

assess in order to determine if the improvised device is functional in different identified

waters ways such as canal, stream, and river. The finding of this assessment is useful to

support the total functionality impression of the improvised device. There were five raters of

this assessment procedure.

Table 5 shows the functionality rate of the improvised remote control boat as it is

tested in three different water ways: canal, stream, and river. The final mean result is 3.4 with

the verbal description of functional, when the device is tested in the canal water ways. It also

revealed that in stream water ways the final mean result is 3.0 with the verbal description of

functional. Therefore the improvised remote control boat is better to function in both

canaland stream, this means further that the improvised device is functional to use in canal

and stream. On the other hand, when the device is tested in the river with the same condition

of the flow of the water, the rate result reveal different final mean result it has 2.4 with the

verbal description of weak in its function. It means that the improvised is not good to use in

cleaning if the venue is in the river.

CONCLUSIONS

After conducting the series of testing, assessing and evaluating the improvised remote

control boat as garbage collector of the polluted water ways, the total result showed an

efficient function of the device. The RC transmitter can transmit signal to the RC receiver in

a maximum distance of 300 cm which is equivalent to 3 meters away from the operator

holding the RC transmitter. This distance is good enough in cleaning a canal and stream

because the standard distance of a developed canal in a 3rd class urban area like the

Cabadbaran City is 6 meters wide (City Planning Office of Cabadbaran City). Therefore, in

this case the operator can maneuver the device from the shore to the center that is 3 meters in

length, and then back to the shore. So to complete the cleaning procedure, do the operation

again but this time in the adjacent shore of the canal that is another 3 meters from the center

to the adjacent shore.

On the other hand the garbage net catcher installed in both movers (improvised boat)

with the measurement of 100 cm length by 12.5 cm width is considered effective in collecting

the floating garbage on the water ways. It can collect a maximum weight of 50 cg of floating

garbage that is equivalent to ½ kilo and the movers (improvised boat) still move in a fast rate.

Furthermore, the improvised remote control boat shows a good functional observation

on its function during the operation. The device can stand on its operational function to a

maximum of 8 minutes fully functional per operation, thus the improvised device is a great

help to the advocates of water ways cleanliness and maintenance without the chance of skin

contact with the contaminated and polluted bodies of water.

However, the improvised remote control boat device is effective only in canal and

stream water ways based on the observation. But in totality the improvised remote control

boat garbage collector is functional and can be recommended to the advocates in maintaining

the cleanliness of Cabadbaran City water ways.
