Improper Handling of Food Safety

Food is the basic human needs. It means your body work grow and repair itself.

Through improper way of handling food safety, the most affected population that have

been affected foodborne diseases by (Ucar,2016). First is the restaurants is a business that prepares

and serves food and drinks to customers. Out of 100%, 72 percentage of people have been affected

in this diseases. Second home which used as a permanent residence for an individual, family,

household or several families in a tribe. 22% have also been affected. Last is the school was only

have 4% have been affected of foodborne diseases.

There are also several cause of improper handling of food. One of these is the biological

hazard is a substance that poses a threat to the health of living organisms, primarily human which

cause the adverse health impacts. While the chemical hazard is a hazards substance that causes

harm due by the exposure to chemicals in the workplace it can also cause acute or long-term

detrimental health effects. In Physical Hazard is an agent that can cause harm with or without

contact. It is also the environmental factors that can harm to the employees. Lastly the Allergenic

Hazard which the reactions to food can sometimes cause serious illness and death.

These are other terms that needs to be aware of the illnesses. Proper Personal Hygiene the

food handlers needs to be clean and neat in preparing the food or even on cooking. Location also

needs to be aware of is that certain place is far from any diseases or illnesses. In Cleanliness of

food handler he or she needs to be clean and well groom person. Last is the proper sanitation which

the food handlers should always apply proper sanitation in the work place.

Food handlers has an importance of proper safe food handling which food handlers protects

people from getting sick because we people need to have a healthy lifestyle. Second the clean
environment, in order the food will be safe and free from bacteria. It also protects the business

reputation with customers and lastly applying proper food handling can protect your job.

There are also several tips in general safe food handling in the workplace. In wash and

sanitize utensils it should be wash before using and sanitize also after using to avoid rusting.

Second is changing of gloves in order to avoid foodborne illness and food contamination and last

stove tableware away from dust.

If we can gain the proper way of handling food safety we can sustain the things that we are

free from diseases and good healthy lifestyle in our body. Observe proper way of preparing food

in the workplace and cleaning the food properly in order the food that will be prepared is clean

and healthy
