Procurement – procurement it’s basically about how individuals choose to purchase

products. For instance items needed for an ofcec sosware for your PCc hardware for your
PC and so on. Some individuals would choose to buy their product in bulkc because then
they can obtain a large amount of the same productc for instance a frewall for over 20 PC’s
for a decent pricec rather than buying them separately with it costng you more. Another
way is leasing a product to themc for instance a PC. They would have to pay for it monthlyc
whilst it could be cheaper for themc if they damage the product they will have to pay for it.

Sustainability and environmental issues – Plenty of electronic appliances are binnedc when it
is actually harmful to do this because it afects the environment. Individuals normally
recycle the parts which do not work no more for example the hardware in a PC. The
motherboard has gold on itc though it’s only a litle. A thousand motherboards gold recycled
can make it into a chunk of gold. Recycling also shows that they are doing their part to help
the environment. The transportaton for these components will also needed to be arranged.
There are two ways to do thisc if the company already has its own internal transportaton for
the items that need to be recycled or if they are going to use an external company to
transport the items that need to be recycled.

Reportng Documentaton and Problem escalaton procedures – it’s vital that any sort of
issues are immediately informed about when it happens. Making it possible to record any
sort of issuesc which happenc might be a massive aid for the system maintainers as tme
goes on. For examplec if the issue happens once morec they may immediately check on the
log. So they can view how that specifc issue was dealt with. encec it will lower the tme it
took for issue to be dealt withc opposed to if someone tried to handle it without any help.
Within a certain amount of tmec they will have goten the explanaton for many issuesc
hence these issues be resolved as fast as possible whenever one occurs.
Employee and employer responsibilites ealth and safety. it’s a huge rule which all
individuals have to follow. When handling electronicsc for examplec PC’s a worker could
ensure all workers are doing their job without having to worry about getng injuredc the
environment should be safec but if an injury happensc that business may have to pay the
price or worse. Using the right tools for their work is importantc because it will lower a
possibility of an injury. Dealing with PC’s and other electronicsc tools likec mats and ant
statc wrist bands have to be utlised. The worker has to always have all the required tools
availablec if the tools become damaged they have to be replaced with new tools. When
repairingc for example computers for customersc it is vital that repairing is done properlyc if
not problems may occur. For instancec If that consumer got their computer back and ends
up getng electrocutedc that business will be dealing with the issue in court.
