ABSTRACT
Cyber Security plays an important role in the field of information technology .Securing the
information have become one of the biggest challenges in the present day. When ever we think
about the cyber security the first thing that comes to our mind is ‘cyber crimes’ which are
increasing immensely day by day. Various Governments and companies are taking many
measures in order to prevent these cyber crimes. Cybersecurity is the protection of Internet-
connected systems, including hardware, software, and data from cyber attacks. It is made up of
two words one is cyber and other is security. Cyber is related to the technology which contains
systems, network and programs or data. Whereas security related to the protection which includes
systems security, network security and application and information security.
Besides various measures cyber security is still a very big concern to many. This paper mainly
focuses on challenges faced by cyber security on the latest technologies .It also focuses on latest
about the cyber security techniques, ethics and the trends changing the face of cyber security.

The growth in the number of computer systems and the increasing reliance upon them by individuals,
businesses, industries and governments means that there are an increasing number of systems at risk.Large
corporations,medical sector,government , financial sectors etc are at risk.

A security breach is any incident that results in unauthorized access of data, applications, services,
networks and/or devices by bypassing their underlying security mechanisms. A security breach occurs
when an individual or an application illegitimately enters a private, confidential or unauthorized logical IT
perimeter.

involve fraud and identity theft.
