Introduction

‫ا لن الْ َح ْمدَ ِ ل ِل َ ْن َمدُ ُه َون َ ْسس َت ِعي ُن ُه ونسستغفره ونعول ه من شور أأنفسسن نا ومن سننيئات أأعملنننا‬

‫يك‬َ ‫ش‬ِ َ ‫ال َو ْحدَ ُه َل‬ ُ ‫ال فَ َل ُم ِض لل َ ُل َو َم ْن يُضْ ِل ْل فَ َل هَا ِد َي َ ُل َو أأ ْشهَدُ أأ ْن َل ا َ َل ا لل ل‬
ُ ‫َم ْن يَ ْ ِد ِه ل‬
‫إ إ‬
ُ ُ ‫َ ُل َو أأ لن ُم َح لمدً ا َع ْبدُ ُه َو َر ُس‬
‫ول‬

All thanks and praise is due to Allah, we seek His help and forgiveness. We seek refuge in Allah
from the evil within ourselves and the consequences of our evil deeds. Whomever Allah guides
will never be led astray, and whomever Allah leads astray will never fnd guidance. bear witness
there is no ilah but Allah, alone without any partners, and bear witness that Muhammad is His
slave and His Messenger.

َ ‫ال َح لق تُ َقا ِت ِه َول تَ ُموتُ لن ال َو أأن ُ ْْت ُم ْس ِل ُم‬

‫ون‬ َ ‫لال ا تعال َي أأيي َا ل ِال َين َءا َمنُوا ات ل ُقوا ل‬
‫إ‬
Allah the Exalted said, “O you who have believed, fear Allah as He should be feared and do
not die except as Muslims in submission to Him.” (3:102)

‫ولال تعال َي أأيي َا النل ُاس ات ل ُقوا َرب ل ُ ُك ل ِالي َخلَ َق ُ ْك ِم ْن ن َ ْف ٍس َوا ِحدَ ٍة َو َخلَ َق ِم ْنَا َز ْو َ َجا َوب َ لث ِم ْنُ َما‬
‫ال َك َن عَلَ ْي ُ ْك َرِلي ًبا‬َ ‫ون ِب ِه َوا أل ْر َحا َم ا لن ل‬َ ُ‫ال ل ِالي ت َ َس َاءل‬ َ ‫ِر َجال َك ِث ًيا َو ِن َس ًاء َوات ل ُقوا ل‬
‫إ‬
And the Exalted said, “O mankind, fear your Lord, who created you from one soul and
created from it its mate and dispersed from both of them many men and women. And
fear Allah, through whom you ask one another, and the wombs. Verily, Allah is ever
watching over you.” (4:1)

‫ولال تعال َي أأيي َا النل ُاس ات ل ُقوا َرب ل ُ ُك ل ِالي َخلَ َق ُ ْك ِم ْن ن َ ْف ٍس َوا ِحدَ ٍة َو َخلَ َق ِم ْنَا َز ْو َ َجا َوب َ لث ِم ْنُ َما‬
‫ال َك َن عَلَ ْي ُ ْك َرِلي ًبا‬َ ‫ون ِب ِه َوا أل ْر َحا َم ا لن ل‬َ ُ‫ال ل ِالي ت َ َس َاءل‬ َ ‫ِر َجال َك ِث ًيا َو ِن َس ًاء َوات ل ُقوا ل‬
‫إ‬
And the Exalted said, “O you who have believed, have taqwa of Allah and speak words of
appropriate justice. He will then amend for you your deeds and forgive your sins, and
whoever obeys Allah and His Messenger has certainly attained a great attainment.”
(33:70-71)

‫ال تَ َع َال َو أأ ْح َس ُن الْه َْد ِي ه َْد ُي ُم َح لم ٍد ىا ا عليه وسل‬ ِ ‫ااب ل‬ ُ ‫يث ِك َت‬ ِ ‫فانإن أأ ْىدَ ُاق الْ َاح ِد‬
ٍ َ َ‫ك ض‬
‫لا ِف النل ِار‬ ٌ َ َ‫ك ب ِْدعَ ٍة ض‬
‫لا َو ُ ي‬ ‫ك ُم ْاحدَ ثَ ٍة ب ِْدعَ ٌة َو ُ ي‬
‫ش ا لل ُم ِور ُم ْاحدَ َثتُ َا َو ُ ي‬
‫َو َ ي‬

Verily, the most truthful speech is the Book of Allah, the best guidance is the guidance of
Muhammad, and the worst afairs are newly invented matters. Every newly invented matter is a
religious innovation, and every religious innovation is misguidance, and every misguidance is in
the Hellfre.

ُ ‫ال َوي َ ْغ ِف ْر لَ ُ ْك ُلنُوبَ ُ ْك ۗ َو ل‬

‫ال غَ ُف ٌور لر ِح ٌي‬ ُ ‫ال فَات ل ِب ُع ِون ُ ْي ِب ْب ُ ُك ل‬ َ ‫نت ُ ِت يب‬
َ ‫ون ل‬ ْ ُ ‫لُ ْل إان ُك‬
Say, [O Muhammad], "If you should love Allah , then obey me, [so] Allah will love you and
forgive you your sins. And Allah is Forgiving and Merciful." 3:31

ُ‫أأ لما ب َ ْعد‬

To proceed,
The deception of shaytan has taken place, while most of the people on this earth are not aware
nor do they know. And when say people, this includes the Muslims and the disbelievers.

One of the ways of shaytan, by which he misguides the people, is to make them busy with things
which will make them lose the perception of the current situation, averting them from reaction,
by busying them with things which Allah subhaanahu wa ta’ala made clear.

decided to write this book, hoping only pleasure from Allah, and ask my Rabb to accept and to
make it a source of guidance for whoever reads it. Amin
 The beginning to success

And how many books are written about Tawhid, yet it seems that people do not understand. n
this small book will do my best bi idhni Allah to clarify the most important things regarding
the tawhid, and Allah is Muqallibu Al Quloob, so ask, just as His Messenger Musaa ‘alayhi as
salaam asked:

‫َس ِل أأ ْم ِري َوا ْحلُ ْل ُع ْقدَ ًة ِ ّمن ِل ّ َس ِان ي َ ْف َقهُوا لَ ْو ِل‬

ْ ّ ِ ‫اش ْح ِل َى ْد ِري َوي‬
َ ْ ‫َر ِ ّاب‬
"My Lord, expand for me my chest, and ease for me my task, and untie the knot from my tongue
that they may understand my speech”

What is the meaning of ilah?

Allah says in the Qur’an:

‫َوالَ ٰنه ُ ُْك الَ ٰن ٌه َوا ِح ٌد ۖ لل الَ ٰن َه ا لل ه َُو لالر ْ َح ٰن ُن لالر ِح ُي‬
‫إ إ‬ ‫إ إ‬
And your ilah is one ilah. There is no ilah except Him, Ar Rahmaan Ar Raheem. 2:163

Allah is One, and no doubt in it, not 3, not 4, not 2, but ONE. But what is the meaning of ilah?

lah is anyone or anything which people take as object of worship, whom they commit their
hearts to fully, directing to this someone or something ones actions, doing it for their sake and to
them.

Allah says:

َ ُ‫لُل ل ل ْو َك َن َم َع ُه أ آ ِلهَ ٌة َ َك ي َ ُقول‬

‫ون ا ًلا للبْ َتغ َْوا ا َ ٰل ِلي الْ َع ْر ِش َسب ًِيل‬
‫إ‬ ‫إ‬
Say, [O Muhammad], " f there had been with Him [other] gods, as they say, then they [each]
would have sought to the Owner of the Throne a way." 17: 42
Those they attribute to Ar Rahman as a partner, are their vain desires. Allah never told the people
to worship anyone else and even those they worship, those they took as LAH, they use them to
get a way to Allah. No authority was given to mankind to do so, rather all the Prophets and
Messenger who were sent, were sent with one, consistent Message:

Laa ilaaha illa Allah

There is NO ilah except Allah.

These aalihah ( plural of ilah ), people made them alihah, or they themselves called the people to
take them as aalihah, like the Pharaoh, without any authority.

Allah also says:

‫الس َم َاو ِات َو ْ أال ْر َض ِف ِسستل ِة أأ لي ٍم ُ لث ا ْسس َت َو ٰى عَ َا الْ َع ْر ِش يُغ ِْش‬ ‫ال ل ِالي َخلَ َق ل‬ ُ ‫ا لن َرب ل ُ ُك ل‬
‫إ‬
ْ ْ ْ ِ
‫الل ل ْي َل النل َ َار ي َ ْطلُ ُب ُه َحثيث ًا َو ل‬
ۗ ‫الش ْم َس َوال َق َم َر َوالني ُجو َم ُم َسخ َلر ٍات ِبأأ ْم ِر ِه ۗ أأ َل َ ُل ال َخلْ ُق َو أال ْم ُر‬
‫ال َر ياب الْ َعال َ ِم َي‬
ُ ‫تَ َب َاركَ ل‬

ndeed, your Rabb is Allah , who created the heavens and earth in six days and then established
Himself above the Throne. He covers the night with the day, [another night] chasing it rapidly;
and [He created] the sun, the moon, and the stars, subjected by His command. Unquestionably,
His is the creation and the command; blessed is Allah , Rabb of the ‘alameen. 7: 54

What is the meaning of Ar Rabb?

The Quraysh had no issues in knowing Allah as the Creator of everything, rather their problem
was with taking aalihah besides Allah, so that they were seeking closeness to Allah through
worshiping idols with Allah. Then what other problems do other people have? Let’s say we have
someone who says: believe in Allah, and directs their salah and all other actions to Allah, how
come many of them still fall into shirk?

The answer is the opposite of what the Quraysh had issues with. Those people recognize Allah as
ilah, the Only One, but they took others as Rabb.
Now what is the meaning of the word Rabb? The word Rabb includes many diferent things, and
one of them is mentioned in the ayah mentioned above. Allah says:

‫أأ َل َ ُل الْ َخلْ ُق َو ْ أال ْم ُر‬

Unquestionably, His is the creation and the command 7: 54

While LAH includes directions directed to the one a person worships, RABB means the actions
and attributes that are exclusively for Allah, that including creating, ruling, setting up rules for
the creation, nurturing the creation, taking caare of the afairs related to creation ( moving of
sun, the heat, the stars, winds etc ).

Allah is our Creator, our Maker and our Originator, He creates something and sets the rules for
this creation, what harms t, what benefts it, what leads the creation to success etc.

magine a maker of a phone for example, this maker of the phone knows the attributes of this
phone, what harms it and what is good to do with it, and therefore we get instructions with a
phone we buy on how to deal with it. Yet this phone lass not for too long, while Our Creator
created the sun and the moon and we see them for years doing the same, having sunlight and
moonlight for the night and day.

Human beings get their ‘manual’ too, Allah sending Prophets to deliver the Message to the
people to go back to this what benefts them and leads to success when they think that they do
good while harming themselves.

Allah also has Names and Attributes, by which we get to know Him by what He tells us about
Himself, without us attempting to ‘guess’ Who He is and thereby, like many others before, to fall
into inventing lies about Allah.

Those attributes are only for Allah, Allah is Perfect and nothing is like unto Him, as Allah says:
 ۚ ‫الس َم َاو ِات َو ْ أال ْر ِض ۚ َج َع َل لَ ُك ِ ّم ْن أأن ُف ِس ُ ْك أأ ْز َوا ًجا َو ِم َن ْ أالنْ َعا ِم أأ ْز َوا ًجا ۖ ي َ ْذ َر ُؤ ُ ْك ِفي ِه‬
‫فَا ِط ُر ل‬
‫الس ِمي ُع الْ َب ِص ُي‬ ‫ش ٌء ۖ َوه َُو ل‬ ْ َ ‫لَيْ َس َ ِكث ِ ِْل‬
[He is] Originator of the heavens and the earth. He has made for you from yourselves, mates, and
among the cattle, mates; He multiplies you thereby. There is nothing like unto Him, and He is
the Hearing, the Seeing. 42: 11

Allah is the Originator, meaning, none before nor after is able to originate anything as being the
frst creation that came to existence as such.

One example would be, humanbeings are unable to make anything without taking ideas from
something that already exists, like a light bulb, for which the idea is taken from the sun and
sunlight, and Allah being the One creating the sun and the light, or airplanes, for which the idea
is taken from seeing birds, Allah being the Originator of the birds, and none can ever bring to
existance anything like it.

Then where is the shirk?

Shirk linguistically means to share something, coming from sharaka ( to share ).

n slam, shirk means to share anythng that belongs exclusively to Allah with someone or
something else, and to share something not beftting to Allah and attributing it to Allah. n
short, taking the rights of Allah and attributing them to someone or something else and
attributing to Allah what does not beft Him.

Now knowing this defnition, NOW that by attributing to Allah something He did not give
authority for or did not mention about Himself, as well as sharing what belongs only to Allah, i.e.
command, legislation, creation, originating etc., with someone or something else is shirk, be it
through limbs or through the tongue by telling lies about Allah, or be it something in the heart,
all that consists shirk.
 The cure

Allah says:

‫الصدُ ِور َوهُدً ى َو َر ْ َح ٌة ِل ّلْ ُم ْؤ ِم ِن َي‬

‫َي أأيي َا النل ُاس لَ ْد َج َاء ْت ُك لم ْو ِع َظ ٌة ِ ّمن ل ِبرّ ُ ْك َو ِش َفا ٌء ِل ّ َما ِف ي‬

O mankind, there has to come to you instruction from your Lord and healing for what is in the
breasts and guidance and mercy for the believers. 10: 57

When we are ill, we certainly do not run to an English teacher to see what the illness is, rather to
a doctor, and even there, the one specialized in that feld.

Mankind has received the Message and cure for the problems inside ones self and solutions for
the problems in the societies. Allah sent down the Qur’an to His Messenger Muhammad Salla
Allahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, the seal of Prophethood, and the greatest example for the people, as he
was the one to practise it frst, Allah giving Him the knowledge on what and how to do, and him
being the one to call the people to the right path, conveying the Message and teaching people
how to implement it the right way in order to succeed.

Allah says:

ُ ‫ال َوي َ ْغ ِف ْر لَ ُ ْك ُلنُوبَ ُ ْك ۗ َو ل‬

‫ال غَ ُف ٌور لر ِح ٌي‬ ُ ‫ال فَات ل ِب ُع ِون ُ ْي ِب ْب ُ ُك ل‬ َ ‫نت ُ ِت يب‬
َ ‫ون ل‬ ْ ُ ‫لُ ْل إان ُك‬
Say, [O Muhammad], "If you should love Allah , then obey me, [so] Allah will love you and
forgive you your sins. And Allah is Forgiving and Merciful." 3:31

Allah tells us here that if we truly love Allah we must obey the Messenger, the opposite is, if we
do not obey the Messenger, then we do not love Allah. And no Prophet nor Messenger was ever
sent except that Allah gave the permission to people to obey them by His permission.

Allah says

ِ ‫َو َما أأ ْر َسلْنَا ِمن لر ُسولٍ ا لل ِل ُي َطا َع ِ ْل ِن ل‬

‫ال‬
‫إ‬ ‫إ‬
And We did not send any messenger except to be obeyed by permission of Allah 4: 64

The success is by obeying Allah and obeying His Messenger, and indeed, His messenger is the
one chosen by Him, being the one with the best attributes and the best dealing.

Allah says about ouur beloved Rasoolu Allah Salla Allahu ‘alayhi wa sallam.

‫َوان َلك لَ َع َ ٰا ُخلُ ٍق َع ِظ ٍي‬

‫إ‬
And surely you are indeed of a magnifcent character. 68: 4

Be of those who go back to the truth, to the origin, not by obeying people in disobedience to
Allah, question, and remember that Only Allah knows what is good for us and what not, and that
His Messenger Salla Allahu ‘alayhi wa sallam is the best example. So turn to the truth, not to
people.

‫َي أأيي َا النل ُاس ات ل ُقوا َ بر ل ُ ُك ل ِالي َخلَ َق ُ ْك ِم ْن ن َ ْف ٍس َوا ِحدَ ٍة َو َخلَ َق ِم ْنَا َز ْو َ َجا َوب َ لث ِم ْنُ َما ِر َجال َك ِث ًيا‬
َ ‫ون ِب ِه َوا أل ْر َحا َم ا لن ل‬
‫ال َك َن عَلَ ْي ُ ْك َرِلي ًبا‬ َ ُ‫ال ل ِالي ت َ َس َاءل‬َ ‫َو ِن َس ًاء َوات ل ُقوا ل‬
‫إ‬
And the Exalted said, “O you who have believed, have taqwa of Allah and speak words of

whoever obeys Allah and His Messenger has certainly attained a great attainment.”
(33:70-71)

This is the real success, so turn to it and not away from it.
 Do not difer nor obey the majority of people on earth

There is a misconception circling around amongst the Muslims, and this is the understanding of
what jama’ah means.

Usually it is understood when someone says ‘Stick to the jama’ah’, as the jama’ah being the
majority of the Muslims. But, let me inform you, that this is not the case.

Jama’ah linguistically comes from jama’a ( to gather ), and yes it is the truth that this can apply to
majority of the people, but when it comes to the deen, when it comes to slam, the jama’ah gets a
very strong meaning. Our beloved Rasoolu Allah Salla Allahu ‘alayhi wa sallam instructed us
certain things and his companions radiya Allahu ‘anhum jamee’an have spoken of it.

When it comes to the term Ahlu As Sunnah Wa Al Jama’ah, it is completely understood what
Ahlu As Sunnah means, but then what is Al Jama’ah?

This can be understood from the hadith about the diferent sects that will be present:

‫ال ن ىا ا عليه وسل ن " افْ َ َتلَ ِت الْيَ ُو ُد عَ َا ا ْحدَ ى َو َسس ْب ِع َي ِف ْرلَ ًة فَ َوا ِحدَ ٌة ِف الْ َجنل ِة‬ ِ ‫ول ل‬ ُ ‫ لَا َل لَا َل َر ُس‬، ‫ال‬ ٍ ِ ‫َع ْن َع ْو ِف ْب ِن َم‬
‫إ‬
‫ون ِف النل ِار َو َوا ِحدَ ٌة ِف الْ َجنل ِة َو ل ِالي ن َ ْف ُس ُم َح لم ٍد ِب َي ِد ِه‬
َ ‫ون ِف النلا ِر َوافْ َ َتلَ ِت النل َص َارى عَ َا ِث ْنت َ ْ ِي َو َسس ْب ِع َي ِف ْرلَ ًة فَا ْحدَ ى َو َسس ْب ُع‬ َ ‫َو َسس ْب ُع‬
‫إ‬
‫‏‬. " ‫ال َم ْن ُ ْه لَا َل " الْ َج َماعَ ُة‬ ِ ‫‏ ِلي َل َي َر ُسو َل ل‬. " ‫ون ِف النلا ِر‬ َ ‫لَ َت ْف َ ِتلَ لن لأ لم ِت عَ َا ثَ َل ٍث َو َسس ْب ِع َي ِف ْرلَ ًة فَ َوا ِحدَ ٌة ِف الْ َجنل ِة َو ِثنْتَ ِان َو َسس ْب ُع‬

It was narrated from ‘Awf bin Malik that the Messenger of Allah(‫ )ﷺ‬said:
“The Yahud split into seventy-one sects, one of which will be in Paradise and seventy in Hell. The Nasara’
split into seventy-two sects, seventy-one of which will be in Hell and one in Paradise. swear by the One
Whose Hand is the soul of Muhammad, my nation will split into seventy-three sects, one of which will be
in Paradise and seventy-two in Hell.” t was said: “O Messenger of Allah, who are they?” He said: “The
jama’ah.”
Sunan bn Majah 3992

n this hadith, as those of you who know how to read Arabic, he word in Arabic is Al Jama’ah. But
to say ‘main body, as it is translated or to say ‘majority of Muslims’ is not that simple. n fact in an
another hadith our beloved Rasoolu Allah Salla Allahu ‘alayhi wa sallam explained what the
meaning of Al Jama’ah is.

‫سائِي َل َح ْذ َو النل ْعننلِ ِ لنل ْعننلِ َح لت‬ َ ْ ‫ال ىا ا عليه وسل" لَ َيأأ ِت َ لي عَ َا لأ لم ِت َما أأ َت عَ َا ب َ ِن ا‬ ِ ‫ول ل‬ ُ ‫ لَا َل لَا َل َر ُس‬، ‫ال ْب ِن َ ْع ٍرو‬ ِ ‫َع ْن َع ْب ِد ل‬
‫إ‬
َ ْ ‫ا ْن َك َن ِمنْ ُ ْم َم ْن أأ َت لأ لم ُه عَ َل ِن َين ن ًة لَ َك َن ِف لأ لم ِت َم ْن ي َ ْصن ننَ ُع َل ِ َل َوا لن ب َ ِن ا‬
‫سائِي َل تَ َف ن لنرلَ ْت عَ َا ِث ْنت َ ْ ِي َو َسسن ن ْب ِع َي ِم ل ًل َوتَ ْف َ ِت ُاق لأ لم ِت عَ َا‬
‫إ‬ ‫إ‬
" ‫ال لَا َل َما أأنَ عَلَ ْي ِه َو أأ ْص َِاب‬ ِ ‫ه َي َر ُسو َل ل‬ َ ِ ‫ثَ َل ٍث َو َسس ْب ِع َي ِم ل ًل ُكيه ُْم ِف النل ِار إا إلل ِم ل ًل َوا ِحدَ ًة لَالُوا َو َم ْن‬
Narrated 'Abdullah bin 'Amr:
that the Messenger of Allah (‫ )ﷺ‬said: "What befell the children of sra'il will befall my Ummah, step by
step, such that if there was one who had intercourse with his mother in the open, then there would be
someone from my Ummah who would do that. ndeed the children of sra'il split into seventy-two sects,
and my Ummah will split into seventy-three sects. All of them are in the Fire Except one sect." He said:
"And which is it O Messenger of Allah?" He said: "What am upon and my Companions."
Jami` at-Tirmidhi 2641

The Jama’ah goes back to the Sahaba radiya Allahu ‘anhum, and those who strictly are upon what
they were upon, those are the successful ones.

Now my claim:

“Usually it is understood when someone says ‘Stick to the jama’ah’, as the jama’ah being the
majority of the Muslims. But, let me inform you, that this is not the case.”

Proof?

Allah says:

‫الظ لن َوا ْن ُ ْه ا لل‬

‫ننننون ا لل ل‬
َ ‫ال ۚ ان يَت ل ِب ُع‬ ِ ‫َوان ت ُِطن ن ْع أأ ْك َ َث َمن ِف ْ أال ْر ِض يُ ِضننننليوكَ َعن َسننننب‬
ِ ‫ِيل ل‬
‫إ َْ إ‬ ‫إ‬ ‫إ‬ ‫إ‬
‫ون‬
َ ُُ‫ى‬ ‫ر‬‫ي‬

And if you obey most of those upon the earth, they will mislead you from the way of Allah . They
follow not except assumption, and they are not but falsifying. 6: 116

Allah says: ‘akthara man fee al ardi ‘ ( most of those who are in the earth’, the word ‘man’ is not
limited to only those who disbelieve, rather it also refers to those who say: We are Muslims.

Allah warned us of those who claim to believe, yet you will fnd those who say: cutting hand of a
thief is barbaric, or they say: stoning of the adulterer and other rules are only for that time.

And their unused brains do not know when Allah says:

َ ‫َو َما ُم َح لم ٌد ا لل َر ُسو ٌل لَ ْد َخلَ ْت ِمن لَ ْب ِ ِل يالر ُس ُل ۚ أأفَان لم‬

‫ات أأ ْو لُ ِت َل ان َقلَ ْب ُ ْت عَ َ ٰا أأ ْع َقا ِب ُ ْك ۚ َو َمن‬
ِ َ ‫إ‬ َ َ ِ ِ َ ِ َ ‫إ‬
‫ل‬
‫ال الشاك ِر َين‬ ُ ‫ال شيْئًا ۗ َو َسس َي ْج ِزي ل‬ َ‫ض ل‬ ‫ق‬ ‫ع‬
‫يَنقل ْب عَ ٰا َ َب ْيه فلن ي َ ُ ل‬
Muhammad is not but a messenger. [Other] messengers have passed on before him. So if he was
to die or be killed, would you turn back on your heels [to unbelief ]? And he who turns back on
his heels will never harm Allah at all; but Allah will reward the grateful. 3: 144
And indeed, it is to be kept forever, but those who disbelieve do not know and many refuse to
accept.

Allah says about the Munafqeen:

‫َوا َلا ِلي َل لَه ُْم أ آ ِمنُوا َ َك أ آ َم َن النل ُاس لَالُوا أأن ُْؤ ِم ُن َ َك أ آ َم َن ي‬
‫الس َفهَا ُء ۗ أأ َل إانل ُ ْم ُ ُه ي‬
‫الس َفهَا ُء َول َ ٰن ِكن لل‬
َ ‫ي َ ْعلَ ُم‬
‫ون‬ ‫إ‬
And when it is said to them, "Believe as the people have believed," they say, "Should we believe as
the foolish have believed?" Unquestionably, it is they who are the foolish, but they know [it] not.
2: 13

And then about those who believe that they can make up new things and add to deen, not even
going back to what Allah has revealed and to His Messenger Salla Allahu ‘alayhi wa sallam? They
say what we have is not enough be it directly or by inventing new things while disregarding what
is there.

Allah says that this deen is complete:

ُ ‫الْ َي ْو َم أأ ْكَلْ ُت لَ ُ ْك ِدينَ ُ ْك َو أأتْ َم ْم ُت عَلَ ْي ُ ْك ِن ْع َم ِت َو َر ِض‬

‫يت لَ ُ ُك ْال ْس َل َم ِدينًا‬
‫إ‬
This day have perfected for you your religion and completed My favor upon you and have
approved for you slam as religion. 5: 3

And there should be no difering amongst us about that slam is complete and that Allah must be
worshipped without associating partners to Him, and that the Book of Allah and the Sunnah of
our Prophet Salla Allahu ‘alayhi wa sallam is for all time. And those before us split and difered,
and that was their ruin.

ٌ ‫َو َل تَ ُكونُوا َك ل ِل َين تَ َف لرلُوا َوا ْختَلَ ُفوا ِمن ب َ ْع ِد َما َج َاء ُ ُه الْ َب ِي ّنَ ُات ۚ َو لأول َ ٰن ِئ َك لَه ُْم عَ َذ‬
‫ااب َع ِظ ٌي‬
And do not be like the ones who became divided and difered after the clear proofs had come to
them. And those will have a great punishment. 3: 105

Only united we will overcome, and those who do not want to unite, then it is them who will be
the losers.

So, O Muslims, turn back to the right path and remember that this is the only way. This is the
success.
