1. This is to announce the conduct of 2019 Schools Division Training Workshop on Senior Citizens and
PWDs Empowerment, Cyber Safety in Schools, Budgeting using HGDG and Use of Other Analysis
Tools for Porac Teaching Staff at Rama Beach Resort, Binoclutan, Botolan, Zambales on December
13-14, 2019.

2. The activity aims to:

a. strengthen the commitment of the Schools Division Personnel in recognizing the essential
roles of Senior Citizen (SC) and Persons with Disability (PWDs) in nation building;
b. foster and nurture the Filipino culture of respect and care for elders and PWDs;
c. Understand different child protection issues, and different Cyber Safe Tools;
d. acquire the skills to conduct Cyber Safe Classroom Sessions and understand the necessary
protocols in responding to any disclosure of Cyber Abuse from children;
e. refine gender responsiveness classification of SDO programs and projects; and
f. intensify the Department’s commitment on Gender and development towards a gender
responsive agency through proper preparation of GAD plans, utilization of Budgets Using
HGDG.

3. The participants to this two-day training are all Porac Teaching Staff.

4. Meals and accommodation shall be charged against School GAD Budget and while the travel
expenses of the participants shall be charged to School MOOE and or local funds, subject to the
usual accounting and auditing rules and regulations.

5. Compensatory Time Off (CTO) shall be given to participants who will attend this activity during
weekend.

6. This also serves as Authority to Travel.

7. Immediate dissemination of this memorandum is desired.
