The Mighty Warriors of Ephraim – the Arrows in the Quiver of the Lord

Who is the Group? Where are they in the New Testament?

The bible speaks of a group of Mighty Warriors that come from the Tribe of Ephraim, the
younger son of Joseph, who was adopted by Jacob, as his 13th son. This group are the polished
arrows that reside in the ‘quiver’ of the Lord. The Lord will scatter these arrows when he
returns when the world in plunged into darkness. This group will bring in the Harvest that is
plentiful…These are the FEW, the laborers that bring in the harvest according to Jesus. They will
shine like the stars above as they turn many to righteousness (Dan 12:3).
Remember…”Many are called, but FEW are chosen” The Few are the 144,000 from Rev 14.
Zech 10: 6 “I will strengthen the House of Judah, [Modern day Jews]
and I will save the House of Joseph. [Modern day Christians]
I will bring them back because I have compassion on them,
and they shall be as though I had not rejected them,
for I am the Lord their God and I will answer them.
7
Then Ephraim shall become like a mighty warrior,
and their hearts shall be glad as with wine.
Their children shall see it and be glad;
their hearts shall rejoice in the Lord. [See Isaiah 60:5]
8
“I will whistle for them and gather them in, [See Isaiah 5:26]
for I have redeemed them, [See Rev 14, the 144,000]
and they shall be as many as they were before.
9
Though I scattered them among the nations, [See Psalm 18:14, the FEW, the Laborers]
yet in far countries they shall remember me,
and with their children they shall live and return.
Isaiah 5 – 26 He will raise a signal for nations far away, [Sign of the Son of Man?]
and whistle for them from the ends of the earth;
and behold, quickly, speedily THEY come! [Ephraim – The Mighty Warriors!]
27
None is weary, none stumbles,
none slumbers or sleeps,
not a waistband is loose,
not a sandal strap broken;
28
their arrows are sharp,
all their bows bent,
their horses' hoofs seem like flint,
and their wheels like the whirlwind.
29
Their roaring is like a lion,
like young lions they roar;
they growl and seize their prey;
they carry it off, and none can rescue.
30
They will growl over it on that day,
like the growling of the sea.
And if one looks to the land,
behold, darkness and distress; [all of the OT prophets…the Day of the Lord]
and the light is darkened by its clouds. [Ezek 34, “I will rescue my children…”]
Zech 9 - 13 For I have bent Judah as my bow; [Jesus is the ‘bow’ in the clouds]
I have made Ephraim its arrow.
I will stir up your sons, O Zion, [Ephraim are the Sons of Zion? Rev 14?]
Against your sons, O Greece,
and wield you like a warrior's sword.
Isaiah 49 – 1 Listen to me, O coastlands, [Servant of the Lord is speaking, one of the 144,000]
and give attention, you peoples from afar.
The LORD called me from the womb,
from the body of my mother he named my name. [This is NOT Jesus…]
2
He made my mouth like a sharp sword;
in the shadow of his hand he hid me;
he made me a polished arrow; [Ephraim is the arrow in the hand of the Lord]
in his quiver he hid me away.
5
And now the Lord says,
he who formed me from the womb to be his servant,
to bring Jacob back to him; [Jacob = 12 tribes, these are the servant harvest workers]
and that Israel might be gathered to him—
for I am honored in the eyes of the Lord,
and my God has become my strength—
6
he says: “It is too light a thing that you should be my servant [well done, good and faithful
servant]
to raise up the tribes of Jacob
and to bring back the preserved of Israel;
I will make you as a light for the nations, [Let you light so shine before others…]
that my salvation may reach to the end of the earth.”

Psalm 18 - 9 He [The Lord] parted the heavens and came down;

thick darkness was under his feet.
10
He rode on a cherub and flew;
he came swiftly on the wings of the wind.
11
He made darkness his covering, his canopy around him,
thick clouds dark with water.
12
Out of the brightness before him
hailstones and coals of fire broke through his clouds.
13
The Lord also thundered in the heavens,
and the Most High uttered his voice,
hailstones and coals of fire. HIS ARROWS and scattered them
14
And he sent out; [His Mighty warriors sent out]
he flashed forth lightnings and routed them.
Zephaniah 1:15 - A day of wrath is that day, a day of distress and anguish, a day of ruin and
devastation, a day of darkness and gloom, a day of clouds and thick darkness
Rev 6 [6th Seal] - 17 for the great day of their wrath has come, and who can stand?”
Back to Isaiah 49 – 22 Thus says the Lord God:
“Behold, I will lift up my hand to the nations,
and raise my signal to the peoples; [Sign of the Son of Man]
and they shall bring your sons in their arms,
and your daughters shall be carried on their shoulders.
23
Kings shall be your foster fathers,
and their queens your nursing mothers.
With their faces to the ground they shall bow down to you, [See Rev 3:9]
and lick the dust of your feet.
Then you will know that I am the Lord;
those who wait for me shall not be put to shame.”
24
Can the prey be taken from the mighty, [remember the seizing the prey from Isaiah 5:29]
or the captives of a tyrant be rescued? 25 For thus says the Lord:
“Even the captives of the mighty shall be taken,
and the prey of the tyrant be rescued,
for I will contend with those who contend with you,
and I will save your children.
Jeremiah 31 - 6 For there shall be a day when watchmen will call in the hill country of Ephraim:
‘Arise, and let us go up to Zion, to the Lord our God.’” [144,000 from Rev 14 are on Mt. Zion]
7
For thus says the Lord:
“Sing aloud with gladness for Jacob,
and raise shouts for the chief of the nations;
proclaim, give praise, and say,
‘O Lord, save your people,
the remnant of Israel.’
8
Behold, I will bring them from the north country
and gather them from the farthest parts of the earth,
among them the blind and the lame,
the pregnant woman and she who is in labor, together;
a great company, they shall return here.
9
With weeping they shall come,
and with pleas for mercy I will lead them back,
I will make them walk by brooks of water,
in a straight path in which they shall not stumble,
for I am a father to Israel,
and Ephraim is my firstborn. [Rev 14 – first fruits redeemed from the earth]
21“Set up road markers for yourself;
make yourself guideposts;
consider well the highway,
the road by which you went.
Return, O virgin Israel, [Rev 14 144,000 are virgins, Israel = Ephraim, Gen 48:16]
return to these your cities.
22
How long will you waver,
O faithless daughter?
For the Lord has created a new thing on the earth:
a woman encircles a man.”

Isaiah 13 - 1 The oracle concerning Babylon which Isaiah the son of Amoz saw.
2
On a bare hill raise a signal; [Sign of the Son of Man]
cry aloud to them;
wave the hand for them to enter
the gates of the nobles.
3
I myself have commanded my consecrated ones, [Holy – Bride of Chist]
and have summoned my mighty men to execute my anger, [Ephraim is the Mighty warrior]
my proudly exulting ones.

thunder. The voice I heard was like the sound of harpists playing on their harps, 3 and they were
