Activities MOE Directives
Pre-Lesson Introduce the topic of the lesson using the picture of a mummy to
find out what pupils know about this topic.
Lesson Teacher plays the CD (CD1 – Track 6). 21st Century Learning skills:
Development Pupils listen and point out the words in the vocabulary section. Communication
Follow instructions in Teacher’s book for Vocabulary (CD1 –
Track 6).
Ask pupils to look at the pictures.
Show pupils the picture of the mummy again. Use this to
encourage pupils to guess the meaning of alive.
Ask pupils to point to the bubbles and follow along as teacher
plays the CD.
Teacher plays the CD again and ask pupils to shadow read.
