III. PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Monreal is a fourth class municipality striving to develop

its business industry, by providing all means of assistance to its
growing business community. Currently, there are 311 registered
business establishments in the municipality that needs the
assistance of DTI through conduct of trainings.

Businesses in the municipalities are experiencing different

challenges in terms of managing their business and how they deal
with internal and external factors that are affecting them. These
challenges if not managed will lead to failure of these businesses
which is not a good scenario. With this, Negosyo Center intends to
help MSMEs on how they deal and manage their finances.

This activity will also help MSME’s to arrive in better financial

decision in the future by being financially literate.

IV. OBJECTIVES
General:

This activity aims to provide knowledge to MSME’s on efficiently

 managing their finances specifically:
1. To equipped MSMEs on the different strategies in managing finances.
2. To transfer knowledge on formulas on financial management.
3. To sustain the agency’s commitments to our PWDS’s, SCs, Women, OFWs,
Youth, and IPs.

V. TARGET BENEFICIARIES

The target beneficiaries of this activity is the 25 identified existing

and potential MSME’s of Poblacion, Monreal, Masbate.

VI. STRATEGY/IMPLEMENTATION SCHEME

 Conduct of lecture on the financial management
 Training workshop will follow after the lecture, to simulate the
application of the financial budgeting and allocation
 Open Forum to address queries from the participants

VII. OUTPUTS AND OUTCOMES

Conduct 1 Entrepreneurial Training on Financial Literacy Seminar to 25

beneficiaries.
