Dimensions in mm
1 Scope
This Linde Standard (LS) applies to brackets for circular platforms attached to uninsulated, warm and cold
insulated vertical vessels.

2 Normative references
This LS contains undated references to incorporate provisions of other publications. The normative references
are cited at the respective place in the text and the publications are listed below. Issues valid at the effective
date of contract shall apply.
ISO 2768-1 General tolerances – Tolerances for linear and angular dimensions without individual tolerance
indications
ISO 2553 Welding and allied processes – Symbolic representation on drawings – Welded joints

3 Material
Material of construction shall be of the same material group 1 as the material of the vessel shell with a minimum
yield strength of 235 MPa.

4 Additional Requirements
The orientation of the bracket is determined via angle indication.
The welds shall be fillet welds with throat thickness a ≥ 4 mm acc. to ISO 2553.
The lower weld of the reinforcement plate shall have a gap of 10 mm.
Tolerances according to ISO 2768 – c.

5 Design
Attachment loads on vessel for platform width up to 1200 mm: Mmax = 10 kNm, Qmax = 15 kN.
Above 1200 mm platform width, loads shall be as per project specification.
