Objective:
 Configuring routers with Open Shortest Path Fast (OSPF) and EIRGP.
 Generating routing table

Tools: GN3 2.1

At first, create a topology as in following figure.

Network Topology

2
2. Routers IP Address and their Interface and Directly Connected
Routers

Device Interface IP Configuration Connected with

Router 1 S1/0 192.168.1.1 Router 2 S1/0
Router 2 S1/0 192.168.1.2 Router 1 S1/0
Router 2 192.168.2.1 S1/1 Router 3 S0/0
Router 2 192.168.3.1 S1/2 Router 4 s1/2
Router 3 192.168.2.2 S1/0 Router 2 s11
Route 3 192.168.4.1 F0/0 Router 4 f0/0
Router 4 192.168.3.2 S0/0 Router 2 s1/2
Router 4 192.168.3.2 F0/0 Router 3 f 0/0
After drawing the topology, then assign IP addresses to the interfaces of routers to go their CLI by following the
topology.
And, finally go through the dynamic routing protocol of OSPF and EIRGP.

Configure OSPF and EIGRP routing protocol:

Network command allows us to specify the interfaces which we want to include in OSPF and EIGRP process. This
command accepts five arguments network number, wildcard mask and area number.

Network number: Network number is network ID. We can use any particular host IP address or
network IP address. For example, at router1, 192.168.1.0 is a network IP address.
