Philosophy

"Things bound to happen in life will eventually happen, you cannot resist and escape from it .
Be flexible like water, let things go and you will grow."

Branch of philosophy

Ethics- study of action; right living; morality.

There are things in life that will happen naturally or will happen because it is the consequences of your
past choice. All of it are the things that you sown in the past and will eventually reap in the present or in
the future. Well, for the time being you have the ability to resist it or escape from it but in the end you still
have to face it. You need to adapt, you need to face head on the changes and discard all of the things that
will hinder your growth and overall development. These are your old beliefs, childishness, wrong conduct,
bad behavior, false principles, laziness, failure to obey, and stupidity. Be more matured and refined.
Inherit the qualities of "water", its ability to adapt and shape itself in every changes in its situation, abilities
to find and fill every holes and gaps in its duty, ability to dissolve any unnecessary an unimportant things,
problems, and disputes. ability to mix in and harmonize with every being with no hindrances. Water know
its very purpose; from quenching thirsty men, sheltering fishes, and watering the grasses and plants,
extinguishing the flames thus, serving the world dutifully. Water is good and virtuous it serves and benefits
all things.

History of Philosophy

Philosopher: Lao Tzu

"Life is a series of natural and spontaneous changes. Don't resist them - that only creates sorrow. Let
reality be reality. Let things flow naturally forward in whatever way they like."

Details: My Philosophy and Lao Tzu's Philosophy.

Similarities:

• It talks about life and morality or ethics.

•It tells how you should act and let things act, go, and flow naturally and not interfering or resisting the
process.

•It tells that you should adapt and accept changes in life.

Differences:

•My Philosophy set an example "water" and tells the result that "you will grow if you let things go" while
Lao Tzu's philosophy did not but he said that if you resist changes it creates sorrow.
Objectives of Philosophy.

1. To learn and to practice the way of life.

2. To follow the example and inherit the characteristics of water.
3. To live in a happy, peaceful and satisfied life.
4. To emphasize the significance of accepting changes in life.
5. To understand that letting go will let you grow.

Meaning of Philosophy

To live a life in a peaceful, happy, and satisfied manner without much much distractions from
problems, worries, pain, illness, criticism, and pressure in our society and of our world one must
understand how to accept and adapt changes in yourself and in your surroundings whether it is in the
aspect of Social (rules and laws, way to communicate and interact, right conduct), Mental (thoughts and
mental processes, development, values), Physical (growth, transition to puberty and adulthood,
appearance) and even in economical aspect. This is how to be flexible capable of bending or yielding
when it is needed, capable of adapting or shaping yourself in the way how you should act accordingly and
conform with the society.

I think "water" is the most qualified and the most beautiful example when it comes in the aspect of
morality or what we called "Ethics". Well, there is a basis why I chose water as my example. First, being
in a liquid form its characteristic is it has power to adapt in its container leaving no space left when we
interpret, compare, and relate it to ethics or morality it is acting or living in utmost righteousness, doing
ethical things in an almost absolute manner leaving no goodness and order undone. Second, water
always settle in low places or position if we relate associate it with ethics or right living it means doing
humble things and showing humbleness towards everyone and everything in spite of their appearance,
values, status, concern, and purpose in this world and in this life. Third, it's power to dissolve things and
weather hard substance like rocks , in ethical meaning it is acting in a humble and patient manner to
dissolve and weather the disputes, problems that may hinder the relationships with others. Lastly, water is
a crucial and significant element that nourish all. It serve everyone and everything in this world.

To let things go means to release and liberate something that its in your possession even if it
seems valuable to you. To let things go is a good sign of you growing that means you have already
accepting the changes and discarding all of the past and unimportant things. To let go is that you have
already learned "Love" because for me it is the most important concept in the aspect of Ethics.
