Any true understanding of where the space race is leading can only be viewed through the prism of bible
world view. Many secular researchers in the area of occult fail to realize that the Bible isnt just a book that
you can pick reference from when and where you like. The Bible apart from being a great resource for
providing clarity on the global elite agenda is also a timeline, defining what will happen in the future
regardless of what is happening in the world. It is also important to note that the higher that NASA goes the
more they are exposed to the prince of the power of the air whose domains occupies space and the
periphery of the earth’s atmosphere. Yes God is in sovereign control of the universe but for a period of time
the Bible declares that Satan who masquerades as an angel of light has a domain situated in high places.
Is there a connection between where NASA is heading and what Satan is planning.

1. THE SPACE RACE

As more and more nations put satellites into orbit, and military planners look to the "weaponizing" of outer
space, what does this mean for the safety of our planet?

Nearly 50 years ago, on May 25, 1961, United States President John F. Kennedy set a goal for his nation, a
goal that many thought impossible. Addressing the U.S. Congress, he said:

"This nation should commit itself to achieving the goal, before this decade is out, of landing a man on the Moon and
returning him safely to the Earth." 1

Kennedy's call resonated with millions of Americans. Human beings have always been fascinated by the
heavens, and, indeed, we should be. As the Psalmist wrote

"The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament shows His handiwork" Psalm 19:1

Responding to Kennedy's challenge, the U.S. space program recruited thousands of scientists and
engineers. Manufacturers devised new technologies to produce rockets, computers, and navigational
equipment. It was a little more than eight years after Kennedy's challenge when Apollo 11 astronaut Neil
Armstrong stepped out of the Lunar Module on July 20, 1969 and proclaimed:

"That's one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind." 2

Three-and-a-half years later, in December 1972, Apollo 17 astronauts Eugene Cernan and Harrison
Schmitt became the eleventh and twelfth Americans to walk on the Moon. No one has been back since.

On March 23, 1983, President Reagan proposed the creation of the Strategic Defense Initiative (SDI), an
ambitious project that would construct a space-based anti-missile system. This program was immediately
dubbed "Star Wars."

The SDI was intended to defend the United States from attack from Soviet ICBMs by intercepting the
missiles at various phases of their flight. For the interception, the SDI would require extremely advanced
technological systems, yet to be researched and developed. Among the potential components of the
defense system were both space and earth based laser battle stations, which, by a combination of
methods, would direct their killing beams toward moving Soviet targets. Air-based missile platforms and
ground-based missiles using other non-nuclear killing mechanisms would constitute the rear echelon of
defense and would be concentrated around such major targets as U.S. ICBM silos. The sensors to detect
attacks would be based on the ground, in the air, and in space, and would use radar, optical, and infrared
threat-detection systems.

Although work was begun on the program, the technology proved to be too complex and much of the
research was cancelled by later administrations. The idea of missile defense system would resurface later
as the National Missile Defense.

However nations such as India and China are launching spacecraft and preparing for their own manned
Moon missions. The People's Republic of China has entered the space race and has developed
sophisticated space assets, including the ability to shoot down a satellite! Japan has also launched its first
lunar satellite and announced plans to send a robot to the moon in five years and to construct an unmanned
base there in 10 years."

Europe, too, has space goals. President of the European Council Herman Van Rompuy stated this:

"We must promote Europe as a space power. To achieve this we must build on the experience of ESA [the European
Space Agency]. ESA should be reinforced in order to obtain full responsibility for the implementation of the space
missions that Europe's status of world power requires” 3

On April 15, 2010, U.S. President Barack Obama gave a major speech at the Kennedy Space Center in
Florida, announcing a change in U.S. space policy. He proclaimed:

"Early in the next decade, a set of crewed flights will test and prove the systems required for exploration beyond low
Earth orbit. And by 2025, we expect new spacecraft designed for long journeys to allow us to begin the first-ever
crewed missions beyond the Moon into deep space. So we'll start—we'll start by sending astronauts to an asteroid
for the first time in history. By the mid-2030s, I believe we can send humans to orbit Mars and return them safely to
Earth. And a landing on Mars will follow. And I expect to be around to see it." 4

Landing astronauts on Mars and later returning them to Earth requires much more fuel and other resources
than a trip to the Moon. With that in mind, the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) has
seriously considered a one-way trip to Mars. One newspaper account explained it this way: "NASA is
looking for volunteers to fly to Mars, the snag is that you won't come back.” It is actively investigating the
possibility of humans colonizing worlds such as the Red Planet. The settlers would be sent supplies from
Earth but would go on the understanding that it would be too costly to bring them home. NASA revealed
that it had already received more than $1 million to commence work on the project at its Ames Research
Centre in California. Centre director Pete Worden, who claimed humans could be living on Mars by 2030
despite the inhospitable conditions, said:

“The human space program is now aimed at settling other worlds” 5

The Obama administration has proposed turning over to private companies the business of taking NASA
astronauts to orbit, and Boeing and Bigelow Aerospace of Las Vegas won an $18 million contract this year
for preliminary development and testing of a capsule that could carry seven passengers. Current NASA
plans call for four space station crew members to go up at a time, which would leave up to three seats
available for space tourists. The flights would be the first to give nonprofessional astronauts the chance to
go into orbit aboard a spacecraft launch-d from the United States.

Human beings have long wanted to control the space above planet Earth. Forty nations now operate space
satellites. And it is no secret that military weapons designers are planning space-based lasers, and particle-
beam weapons that are nuclear-powered. One key U.S. official, General Joseph Ashy, Commander in Chief
of the U.S. Space Command, put it bluntly several years ago:

"It's politically sensitive, but it's going to happen.... we're going to fight in space. We're going to fight from space and
we're going to fight into space.... That's why the U.S. has development programs in directed energy and hit-to-kill
mechanisms. We'll expand into these two missions—space control and space force application—because they will
become increasingly important. We will engage terrestrial targets someday—ships, airplanes, land targets—from
space. We will engage targets in space, from space” 6

War in space would also increase the danger of an accidental nuclear exchange, which could lead to the
total devastation of modern Western civilization. The article continues with this sobering example: "Is war in
space inevitable? The idea of such a war has been around since Sputnik, but for most of the Cold War it
remained safely within the realm of science fiction and the carefully proscribed U.S.-Soviet arms race. But a
dozen countries now can reach space with satellites and, therefore, with weapons. China strutted its stuff in
January 2007 by shooting down one of its own weather satellites 530 miles above the planet 7

U.S. Undersecretary of State Robert G. Joseph made it clear that his nation would act forcibly to defend its
space systems:

"We reserve the right to defend ourselves against hostile attacks and interference with our space assets. We will,
therefore, oppose others who wish to use their military capabilities to impede or deny our access to and use of space.
We will seek the best capabilities to protect our space assets by active or passive means" 8

2. THE ASTEROID THREAT

The United Nations is to lead international efforts to create plans to defend the Earth from asteroids that
pose a collision risk. The UN’s Action Team on Near Earth Objects is to work with space agencies around
the world to draw up potential missions in response to asteroid threats. It will also help to establish a global
network to provide an early warning system for any near earth objects that may pose a risk to the Earth.

The plans were set out in a draft resolution and accompanying report at a meeting of the UN’s Fourth
Committee of the General Assembly in late 2013. The resolutions discussed will require member nations to
cooperate to protect the Earth from asteroid collisions. Missions to deflect an asteroid are likely to be
launched years in advance of a potential impact to gently push any threats off course.

Experts believe missions that use rockets, solar sails or gravity tractors to change an asteroid's orbit as the
most likely solutions. Missions that attempt to destroy an asteroid, such as those used in the film
Armageddon and Deep Impact, are less likely due to the risk posed by the resultant debris.

Astronomers estimate that there are more than one million asteroids that are in a near Earth orbit around
the sun. There are currently just 10,000 asteroids being tracked by Nasa’s Near Earth Object Program.

Professor Richard Crowther, former chair of the UN Working Group on Near Earth Objects and head of the
UK space delegation to the UN, said the steps taken by the UN would lead to greater global cooperation on
how to tackle asteroids. He said:

“If you are trying to change the orbit of an asteroid so that it misses the Earth, there are not just technical
considerations that need to have been rehearsed but also political ones..Which way would you deflect it and what
would happen if it did not deflect enough? Would you deflect it over areas where there were least population or least
infrastructure. Then there is the question of who has the authority to act on behalf of humanity. The recommendations
put before the UN General Assembly will see the establishment of a network to identify asteroids and work out if they
are likely to hit the Earth. There is also a framework to form a collection of space agencies that will work collectively to

come up with mission to deflect or mitigate a potential impact identified by the warning network. These will probably
not be formal UN entities but the UN would probably have oversight….There is no single country that has all the
technology required to do this end it is much easier to work together to have an international collaboration.” 9

The UN meeting in October 2013 came eight months after a 55 feet wide meteor exploded high in the sky
above Chelyabinsk, Russia, creating widespread damage. The meteor, which had not been previously
detected, exploded with the force of more than 30 Hiroshima nuclear bombs high in the atmosphere.

Scientists have found that the Chelyabinsk meteor broke off a much larger asteroid that is in orbit around
the sun and have not ruled out that other debris from the same source could also be on a collision course
with the Earth. The meteor caused 1,000 injuries when it exploded high in the Earth’s atmosphere. Had it
exploded at a lower altitude or over a more densely populated area, then the destruction could have been
far worse.

The UN endorsement of international collaboration to tackle such threats in the future came as the
Association of Space Explorers, an organization formed of former astronauts, gathered for a conference to
discuss the threat posed by asteroids. They first took a series of recommendations for how the world could
tackle the threat posed by near Earth asteroids to the UN in 2007.

Thomas Jones, a former Nasa astronaut, said:

“We’ve all been up in orbit and seen impact craters around the globe as we have circled our planet. Asteroid impacts
have dramatically altered the course of life on Earth and a rogue asteroid will certainly strike Earth, posing a global
threat to human life and society. Search efforts to date have discovered scarcely 1% of potentially hazardous near-
Earth objects, and current telescopes were unable to warn us of the February 2013 Chelyabinsk impact. This leaves
99% of the objects big enough to level a major metropolitan area – undiscovered.” 9

The recommendations put before the UN's General Assembly by the UN’s Committee on the Peaceful Uses
of Outer Space set out the need to establish an “International Asteroid Warning Group”, a network of
telescopes and astronomers working together to identity, map and predict the path of asteroids. A “Space
Missions Planning Advisory Group” would also see national space agencies to prepare technology and
ensure plans are in place for missions to deflect an asteroid if necessary.

3. THE ALIEN THREAT

As mankind extends its reach further into space, what will we find there? For decades, popular culture has
imagined space aliens discovering Earth. Sometimes those aliens are thought to be benevolent and
friendly. Sometimes, however, the aliens are thought to be just as violent and warlike as human beings.

Do aliens exist? University of Cambridge physicist Stephen Hawking thinks so, and he thinks we should be
careful. Consider this news report:

"The aliens are out there and Earth had better watch out, at least according to Stephen Hawking. He has suggested
that extraterrestrials are almost certain to exist—but that instead of seeking them out, humanity should be doing all
that it can to avoid any contact…. He suggests that aliens might simply raid Earth for its resources and then move
on… He concludes that trying to make contact with alien races is 'a little too risky.' He said: 'If aliens ever visit us, I
think the outcome would be much as when Christopher Columbus first landed in America, which didn't turn out very
well for the Native Americans” 10

The frequency of the alien threat topic both in Reagan's general conversations and speeches indicate that
Reagan seriously considered the possibility of an alien invasion and how such an event could promote
world peace. When President Reagan announced the Strategic Defense Initiative (SDI) in March, 1983 in
light of many of his later comments during his administration, many wondered if he intended the plan not so
much for defense against the Soviets or other earthly foes, as a defense against a possible alien threat
from outer space.

December 4, 1985: Reagan spoke about his first summit with General Secretary Gorbachev at Fallston
High School in Maryland. He mentioned to the Russian leader during one of his 5-hour private discussions,
"...how easy his task and mine might be in these meetings that we held if suddenly there was a threat to this
world from some other species from another planet outside in the universe. We'd forget all the little local
differences that we have between our countries..." 11

Gorbachev's Response on February 17, 1987: The Russian leader said to the Central Committee of
USSR's Communist Party at the Kremblin, "At our meeting in Geneva, the U.S. President said that if the

earth faced an invasion by extraterrestrials, the United States and the Soviet Union would join forces to
repel such an invasion. I shall not dispute the hypothesis, though I think it's early yet to worry about such an
intrusion..." 11

May 4, 1987: In a Q&A session which the media called "the space invaders speech," Reagan once more
made a response to the question, "What do you consider to be the most important need in international
relations?" Reagan said, "What if all of us in the world discovered that we were threatened by a power from
outer space, from another planet?" 11

September 15, 1987: The senior editor of the New Republic, Fred Barnes reported in an article that when
the President and Eduard Shevardnatze, the Soviet foreign minister, met to sign to INF Treaty, Reagan
wondered aloud what would happen if the world faced an 'alien threat' from outer space. "Don't you think
the United states and the Soviet Union would be together?" Shevardnatze responded in the affirmative and
added, "and we wouldn't need our defense ministers to meet." 11

September 21, 1987: In his speech to the Forty-Second Session of the United Nations, the President said,
"In our obsession with antagonism of the moment, we often forget how much unites all the members of
humanity. Perhaps we need some outside, universal threat to make us recognize this common bond." Then
he went on to pose the question, "And yet, I ask is not an alien force already among us?" Then the
President posed the second question, "What could be more alien to the universal aspirations of our peoples
than war and the threat of war?" 11

According to The Shocking Truth: Ronald Reagan's Obsession With An Alien Invasion by A. Hovni, Ronald
Reagan reported two known personal UFO sightings that have become public knowledge. According to
comedian Steve Allen, Ronnie and his wife, Nancy, were once half an hour late to a dinner party. They
were upset because they spotted a UFO flying off the California coast and stopped to check it out. 12

Another incident occurred when the then Governor Reagan was flying with Bill Paynter, his pilot, who
backed up Reagan's account of the story. They saw a white light flying in a zig-zag path from the airplane
window and the Governor wanted to follow it. According to Paynter,

"It was nine or ten o'clock at night and we followed it to Bakersfield, and all of a sudden to our utter amazement it went
straight up into the heavens. It appeared to be several hundred yards away. It was a fairly steady light until it began to
accelerated, and then it appeared to elongate. The light took off. It went up at a 45-degree angle--at a high rate of
speed." 13

The Governor was so excited by the event that according to Norman C. Miller, he told Nancy Reagan about
the UFO and they did personal research on UFOs which uncovered that Egyptian hieroglyphics contained
several references to UFOs. Miller realized that Reagan was sincere in his UFO belief and asked,
"Governor, are you telling me that you saw a UFO?" Reagan responded by saying that he was an
"agnostic."

Jimmy Carter was the only other US President to admit seeing a UFO. He filled out an official incident
report on his own sighting in Leary, Georgia in 1969.

4. THE PRINCE OF THE POWER OF THE AIR

First of all, it is important to understand that there are three heavens in scripture (not seven as is
traditionally taught by some). When Paul went into the presence of God, he was "caught up to the third
heaven" (2 Corinthians 12:2). So where are the other two heavens? The first heaven is the atmospheric
heaven where the birds fly. It is called the "open firmament of heaven" (Genesis 1:20). The second heaven
is the starry heaven; what we think of as outer space. It is scripturally called the "firmament of the heaven"
(Genesis 1:14-18) and it is where God placed the sun, moon, and stars. The third heaven then is the abode
of God. When God creates "new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness" (2 Peter 3:13),
He is referring to the first two heavens. Righteousness already dwells in the third heaven and it will not
need to be recreated. When heaven and earth flee away in Revelation 20:11 God's great white throne (a
part of the third heaven) continues to stand.

Satan is called "the prince of the power of the air." If we think of air as oxygen and other gases, this would
limit him to the atmospheric heaven however if we look at the context of Revelation 12:7 and the future
battle involving Satan and Michael this provides significant clues as to the domain of Satan. If the battle
were to be fought in God's presence--the third heaven; where would Satan be when he was cast out? He
would be in the lower heavens. But what does the passage say?

"And there was war in heaven... neither was their place found any more in heaven... he was cast out into the earth,
and his angels were cast out with him."

We can see from this future battle that the devil and his angels were cast out of heaven into the earth. This
would indicate that the battle took place somewhere in the first two heavens and not in the third heaven
where the presence of God dwells. Therefore it would stand that until such a time when Satan is cast down
to earth that his present domain of operations is in the first and second heaven.

This milestone of Satan being cast down to earth will signal an end-time sequence of events leading up to
the return of the Messiah, Jesus Christ. Satan will lose that war in heaven. He will be so angry that he will
direct his wrath toward physical human beings. How will you know that a great space war has taken place
in the spiritual. The message continues,

"Woe to the inhabitants of the earth and the sea! For the devil has come down to you, having great wrath, because he
knows that he has a short time" (Revelation 12:12).

However until then his abode has always been in the heavenlies. Operating from the heavenlies provides
scope for assignment of dark powers to rule and influence nations and regions.

There no evidence that satanic powers have any natural preference for particular geographical areas or
ethnic groupings. However that demonic activity is more pronounced in certain regions and among certain
peoples today is due to the fact that spiritual “beach-heads" been established there by previous
generations. At sometime in one fashion or another, human beings welcomed evil spirits to dwell among
them and in many cases it is places of high altitude or buildings of great sizes that are symbolic gestures./

The fact that mountainous areas manifest a high degree of demonic activity is no arbitrary phenomenon. As
Asian studies Edwin Bembaum observes,

“People have traditionally revered mountains places of sacred power and spiritual atonement" 15

Among the numerous examples cited by Bernbaum are the isolated Qollahuaya people of northeastern
Bolivia who treat nearby Mount Kaata very much like a human being.

“Rather then pray to it,” Bembaum reveals, “they feed it, stuffing llama fat int holes and caves and pouring sacrificial
blood onto earth shrines" 15

In midsummer months, Japanese artists and “divine-possession clubs” climb Mount Ontake, the Mountain
of Trance, in order to be incarnated by Shinto gods.” Elsewhere, in remote Tibet, Hindus and Buddhists trek
dangerous mountain passes to bathe in the icy waters of Manasarovar, the Lake of the Mind before gazing
on holy Mount Kailas, the realm of the highest gods.

The Himalayan Mountain range may represent the world’s densest concentration of spiritism. In all of the
nations skirting these icy behemoths, Nepal, India, Bhutan, China, Pakistan and Tibet, overt demonic
manifestations are commonplace. According to eyewitness accounts from long-term resident missionaries
in Nepal, Christian workers have been bitten (with resultant puncture wounds) and had food supplies eaten
by evil spirits. On other occasions, mysterious lights perched atop high mountain peaks have come hurtling
down toward their residences only to be driven off by urgent rebukes in the name of Christ.

In his outstanding book “Eternity in Their Hearts”, Christian anthropologist Don Richardson retells a
revealing story about how some of the region’s earlier human inhabitants may have established a
beachhead for much of this spiritual activity.

“A branch of mankind which we shall call “proto-Santal” mi-grated eastward “from forest to forest” until high mountains
blocked their way. Desperately they sought a way through the mountains, but every route proved impassable, at least
to their women and children. . . .Facing this crisis . . . they lost their faith in God and took their first step into spiritism.
“The spirits of these great mountains have blocked our way,” they decided. “Come, let us bind ourselves to them by an
oath, so that they will let us pass.” Then they coven-anted with the Maran Buru (spirits of the great mountains),
saying,“O, Maran Buru, if you release the pathways for us, we will practice spirit appeasement when we reach
the other side.” 16

Centuries later, in 1867, Richardson relays that a Norwegian missionary by the name of Lars Skrefsrud,
along with a Danish colleague, discovered the 2.5 million-strong Santal peoples living not far from the
foothills of the Himalayas. But as the great mountains were not in the immediate Santal homeland,
Skrefsrud puzzled as to why the Santal word for demons translated as “spirits of the mountains.” The
mystery was solved when an esteemed Santal elder named Kolean proceeded with the narrative about his
ancestors’ eastward migration.

“Very shortly,” Kolean continued, “they came upon a passage [the Khyber Pass?] in the direction of the rising sun.”
They named that passage Bain, which means “day gate.” Thus the proto-Santal burst through onto the plains of what
is now called India. Subsequent migrations brought them still further east to the border regions between India and
Bangladesh, where they became the modem Santal people. . . . Under bondage to [their] oath . . . the Santal began to
practice spirit appeasement, sorcery, and even sun worship.” 16

On the opposite side of the planet, in the Caribbean nation of Haiti, demonic forces are also much in
evidence. Although voodoo has been sensationalized in such movies as The Serpent and the Rainbow and
The Mighty Quinn, its role as the primary junction between thousands of Haitians and the spirit world should
not be discounted.

Inherited from West Africa, voodoo is essentially a cult of the spirits. Its Creole name, vodou, derives from
vodun, which means “spirit” in the language of the Fon people of Benin and Nigeria. From the voodooist
perspective, the Almighty Master of the universe is too remote to involve Himself with the daily problems of
mankind, and has therefore delegated spirits to serve as intermediaries. From the mid- 1600s African
slaves transported to Haiti were forced to convert to Roman Catholicism and forbidden to practice their
ancestral religion. Instead of deserting their spirits, however, the slaves worshiped them secretly in the
guise of Catholic saints.

Evil spirits will generally remain entrenched in an area like Haiti or the Himalayas until their original
invitation is revoked an action that, unfortunately, is rarely taken. Whatever their education or outlook,
people are almost universally reluctant to renounce events and systems that they perceive to be legitimate
if unflattering elements of their own heritage. Consequently, rather than dispense with their old beliefs and
customs, many societies make an effort to adapt them to contemporary attitudes and lifestyles.

While Muslims exchange their pre-Islamic heathen rituals for the Hajj, Hindus wade into the holy Ganges
every twelve years for the Kumbh Mela Festival. As Europeans and Americans celebrate Druid paganism
through Halloween, Brazilians lose their inhibitions to the frenzied and colorful beat of Carnivale. By
repackaging ancient rites of spirit welcome and appeasement as popular, and seemingly more benign,
festivals and pilgrimages, the tenant rights of demonic powers are thereby reaffirmed by successive
generations.

While we might be tempted to conclude that the power centers of today’s modern society are found in cities
like London, Moscow, Tokyo and Washington, D.C., these choices make sense only if we also assume that
genuine power is associated with material wealth and/or weaponry. In reality, however, we know that such
things are of little consequence. Real power, spiritual power, is of a different order.

The trick is determining precisely where this real power is concentrated. For Christians the focal point is
nothing less than Satanic command and control centers: evil principalities that are responsible for deploying
demonic legions throughout the world. In scriptural parlance, the act of pinpointing and then neutralizing
these strategic enemy command posts is known as “binding the strongman.” Spiritual capitals, or
strongholds, are related to both location and personalities. In the former sense they are specific centers of
demonic control operating within borders defined by the will of local societies.

In scripture certain “spiritual strongmen” are actually referred to by the territories they control. These include
the Prince of Persia (Daniel 10:13), the Prince of Greece (Daniel 10:20), the King of Tyre (Ezekiel 28:12)
and the spirit of Babylon (Revelation 17:3-5). In other cases evil powers have assumed the identity of
territorial deities such as Bel in Babylon (Jeremiah 51:44), Baal-Zebub of Ekron (2 Kings 1:2-3) and
Apollyon of the Bottomless Pit (Revelation 9:11).

Although it is easy to do, spiritual strongholds should be confused with the thousands of sacred sites across
the globe such as Stonehenge in the United Kingdom or Sweden’s Gotland. Whilst such sites are often
located within strongholds the two are not the same. Sacred sites (which are visible) represent meeting
points between the physical and spiritual domains whilst strongholds (which are invisible) represent the
dwelling places, command centers and workshops of unclean spirits.

“By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not
made of things which are visible.” Hebrews 11:3

The Bible continues, not only is the world’s creation the results of the invisible, spiritual realm, but the
spiritual realms are involved in conflicts taking place in the physical, according to Ephesians.

“For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the
darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.” Ephesians 6:12

Paul writes that the source of our battle is not in the physical world, but in the spiritual, against principalities
and rulers in an unseen spiritual dimension, who have power in this age, over the physical realms of
humanity. The Bible, in both the Old and New Testaments reveals an unseen world, with beings who are in
conflict in the physical.

The Bible paints the picture of strongholds, called principalities and rulers of the darkness. A stronghold is
also known as a fortress or fortified city, which allows the occupants to dwell safely, because walls protect
them, which keeps enemies at outside. Fortresses also allow a kingdom to wage war on outlying areas,
advancing the kingdom. The stronghold becomes a base of operation, allowing armies to assemble, arm
and plan the attack.

As Christians, we are engaged in a spiritual battle, taking place in the heavenly realms, played out in the
physical world. Paul writes about the role of the Christian, how we should respond to the challenges put
forward.

“For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal
but mighty in God for pulling down stronghold”, 2 Corinthians 10:3-4

Why is there a spiritual conflict? According to the Bible, the spiritual conflict involves the fallen angels
whose goal is to subvert God’s authority in the world (Job 1:6-12). When God created the physical world, he
also created life to dwell in His creation (Genesis 1). Along with creation in the physical, was the creation of
the spiritual beings called angels (Psalm 8;5, 104:4). Angels were created perfect and without sin, they like
humanity were created with freewill, an ability to choose or reject their creator (Ezekiel 28:15-17).

The angels who rejected God and rebelled were led by Satan, which in Hebrew means adversary. These
angels rejected God’s authority, choosing to follow Satan; they became “fallen angels” who worked against
God. According to the book of Revelation, one third of the angels followed Satan in his rebellion (Revelation
12:4).

Satan and his angels were cast to earth, there Satan tempted Adam and Eve, to reject God’s command by
eating from the “Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil” (Genesis 2:17). Satan, who came to them in the
form of the Serpent, urged Adam and Eve to reject God’s order and eat (Genesis 3:1-7). The first man and
women, like the fallen angels listened to Satan, man’s nature was now fallen. God appeared to Adam, Eve
and the Serpent (Satan) and pronounced judgment, promising the eventual defeat of Satan, as the seed of
the women (The Messiah) would one day crush the serpent’s head. (Genesis 3:14-19). The Messiah, the
seed of the woman, would one day redeem humanity from the fall of Adam, the Messiah would be the
Redeemer. The spiritual war had now begun, as Satan and his fallen angels waged war in the physical
world, to prevent the coming of the Messiah, who would crush Satan and redeem mankind.

Because Adam and Eve rejected God, authority on the earth was turned over to Satan (Luke 4:5-6), who
became the god of this age, blinding the eyes of humanity.

Hell was prepared for the Devil and the fallen angels (Matthew 25:41), but with the fall of Adam and Eve,
Satan’s judgment was put on hold, until man’s judgment is complete, which takes place at the Great White
Throne (Revelation 20:10).

"Then He will also say to those on the left hand, 'Depart from Me, you cursed, into the everlasting fire prepared for the
devil and his angel” Matthew 25:41

“The devil, who deceived them, was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone where the beast and the false
prophet are. And they will be tormented day and night forever and ever” Revelation 20:10

Prior to the white throne judgment, Satan and his angels are cast into the lake of fire, where the lost will
also be cast, to spend eternity. Satan and his fallen angels, know their destiny and their limited time
(Matthew 8:29, Revelation 12:12), therefore their goal is take as many souls with them as possible, by
opposing the kingdom of God, and the Messiah Jesus Christ.

“Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour”
I Peter 5:8

Since he and his fallen angels have a concerted plan to thwart the advancing Kingdom of God, its fruition
becomes their doom. In the ancient world, kingdoms were composed of city states, where individual kings
from cities would rule over and area. Eventually as these individual cities became more powerful or allied
themselves with other city-states, the territory controlled would then expand, encompassing more
sovereignty. Some of the more famous city-states are Athens, Sparta, Nineveh, Rome, Babylon many of
these later became kingdoms and these kingdoms became empires.

In the same way these city-state strongholds became powerful and were able to influence the world around
them, the spiritual realms operate in a similar fashion. Paul in Ephesians chapter 6, revealed the detailed
order, which Satan engages in this war.

“Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle
against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age,
against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places” Ephesians 6:11-12

Satan has an ordered system of warfare, with a hierarchy of fallen angels, each with their own spiritual
kingdoms, doing the bidding of Satan in the physical realms. Paul wants the reader to understand, the
battle is not taking place in the physical realms, but in the spiritual realms.

These realms operate independently in the physical world, under a chain of command, leading to Satan
himself, who as the god of this age has ultimate control. His offer to Christ on the mountain of temptation
was if Jesus would worship him, he would and could offer him all the kingdoms of this world.

“Then the devil, taking Him up on a high mountain, showed Him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time.
And the devil said to Him, All this authority I will give You, and their glory; for this has been delivered to me, and I give
it to whomever I wish. Therefore, if You will worship before me, all will be Yours." Luke 4:5-7

5. THE FINAL AGENDA

Understanding the relevance of NASA in bible prophecy first comes through an understanding about the
phrase in the Bible “the Battle of Armageddon” as this sets the scene for a final climax and significant
change in the history of the earth. Whilst there may be significant debate about the exact details of the
Battle of Armageddon it is possible to piece together a scenario as follows:

1. That the one world government agenda masterminded by the Illuminati requires the destruction of Islam.
We have already referred to this regarding Albert Pikes “Morals and Dogma”. A Masonic publication from
the 19th century in which a demonic vision revealed that that three world wars were needed to bring about
the conditions for a one world Masonic government to emerge in which the third and final world war would
be triggered by a military conflict between Islam and the Zionist West.

2. This is consistent with Daniels biblical prophecy that this same third world war will be triggered by an
attack on the Antichrist whilst he is in Israel in which a military power from the North (possibly Syria and
remnants of an earlier invasion) and a military power from the South (Egypt and North Africa) will come
against him

3. The Antichrist will repel the attacks and through the conquest of Egypt as a gateway into Africa
further extend his military dominance westward and southward into Africa.

4. We are not told how long it will take him to conquer much of the African continent but whilst he is in the
middle of a tyrannical objective of military dominance he will be troubled by reports from the east.

5. A massive 200 million man army from the far East will have made a significant inroad into the Middle
East, only possible by using the Euphrates river as a means of entry from Asia into the Middle East. Many
believe this could be an army led by Red China. You may remember the late Mao Tse Tung stating in the
1970s

“In the battle for the world, China will field an army of 200 million”

6. He will then return his focus back to Israel to confront the Eastern power that is set to contest him for
control of the Middle East.

7. With a titanic struggle due to emerge and the very real threat of Israel being wiped out in huge clash of
opposing power then Christ will return to save the earth from self extinction.

Whilst these series of events may sound like something from a military novel it is important that these future
occurrences will form the battle of Armageddon. Battle can be defined as a series of campaigns and we can
clearly see that there will be a series of battles. Furthermore, whilst many bible scholars have defined
Armageddon as a war in which the whole world comes against Israel we can see this is not correct.

Whilst the Antichrist will also embark on mass persecution against the Jews in Israel when he is revealed
as a false messiah this does not mean he will try to obliterate Israel from the face of the map. He will seek
to maintain his control of Israel as he seeks to confront the Kings of the East.

What is the spiritual significance of the constant battles that will be taking place and increasing in intensity.
We know it is satanic in origin based on Revelation 16:13-16:

The sixth angel poured out his bowl on the great river Euphrates, and its water was dried up to prepare the way for the
kings from the East. Then I saw three impure spirits that looked like frogs; they came out of the mouth of the dragon,
out of the mouth of the beast and out of the mouth of the false prophet.They are demonic spirits that perform signs,
and they go out to the kings of the whole world, to gather them for the battle on the great day of God Almighty. “Look, I
come like a thief! Blessed is the one who stays awake and remains clothed, so as not to go naked and be shamefully
exposed.” Then they gathered the kings together to the place that in Hebrew is called Armageddon.

However why would Satan allow his world government to be thrown into upheaval by dissenting nations.
After all, a satanic world government headed by an Antichrist was all part of his original plan. To answer this
question we must understand that during this period of time that a serious of major world disasters will
shatter any hope of world peace as the judgements of God (known as the wrath of God) will be poured out
upon humanity.

You also have to bear in mind that prior to the second coming of Christ the earth would have already gone
through an earth shattering period of calamity. In fact scriptures in Revelation seem to indicate that the
earth will have already been impacted by cataclysmic events that are to happen in the end time. These
events are triggered by the blowing of seven trumpets by seven angels. At the sounding of the third trumpet
in Revelation chapter 8, a great star called Wormwood was cast into the earth in which on contact with the
earth it made the waters bitter and poisonous to those who came into contact with it.

Many prophecy commentators see significance in that this prophecy is related to what happened at
Chernobyl. The link between Chernobyl and the Ukrainian word for "wormwood" was first noted by S.
Schmemann in a New York Times article dated to 25th July 1986, titled Chernobyl Fallout: Apocalyptic
Tale. Schmemann pointed out that the city Chernobyl is actually named after the Ukrainian word for
mugwort or wormwood (Artemisia vulgaris), which is ‘-lOpHOOMilb "chornobyl".

Absinthium vulgaris are plants in this region which are tolerant of poor soil and thus plentiful in the sandy
lands of the Polissia region—where the twelfth-century town of Chornobyl took its name from the plant and,
in turn, gave it to the twentieth-century nuclear station seven miles away. It is a bitter medicinal herbs and
natural pest repellent, ridding fleas from the home, slugs from the garden, and worms from the body. And it

gets its pungent fragrance from thujone, an organic toxin thought to be the psychoactive agent in absinthe,
the infamous wormwood liqueur banned by most Western countries a century ago.
The word “Chernobyl” is a combination of the words chornyi (‘-lOpHOiH, black) and byllia (MillI, grass
blades or stalks), hence it literally means black grass or black stalks. That may signify burnt grass,
perhaps prior to cultivation. Even for those who feel the fulfilment of Revelation 8:10-11 is still future
would have to admit that it is incredible coincidence that a major modern day event that involves the
poisoning of the surrounding lakes, rivers and seas would be triggered at a city which translates into
wormwood.

However there have been other events where meteors from space have actually survived the earths
atmosphere to strike the earth with some Chernobyl like consequences. On September 15, 2007, a
meteorite impacted Earth near the village of Carancas, Peru, creating a 50-foot-wide crater. When local
officials went to investigate, they saw boiling water bubbling at the bottom of the hole. Sickeningly foul-
smelling, noxious gases rose out of it, striking the investigators ill on the spot.

In the days after the impact, about 200 villagers came down with a mysterious illness, suffering nausea,
headaches and vomiting. Later, tests of the impact site by scientists at Peru's Mining, Metallurgy, and
Geology Institute (INGEMMET) showed that the locals had likely suffered mild arsenic poisoning. The
meteorite unleashed gaseous arsenic when its hot surface met an underground water supply tainted with
the poisonous element, the scientists said.

In October 2010 an article appeared in the New Scientist where Scientists were becoming concerned about
the ramifications of a medium-size asteroid striking the earth. The ones which landed in Peru were small
sized meteors however if a medium-sized asteroid lands in the ocean, tsunamis won’t be the only worry. A
new computer simulation suggests that the water vapour and sea salt thrown up by the impact could
damage the Earth’s protective ozone layer, leading to record levels of ultraviolet radiation that could
threaten human civilisation.

This suggests new issues you could have with ocean impacts that people hadn’t thought of before, says
Brian Toon of the University of Colorado at Boulder, who was not involved in the work…The resulting
ultraviolet-radiation levels would be higher than anywhere on Earth today, the team writes, presenting a
new hazard for human civilisation.16

A large comet hitting the earth would also seem to have similar effects to that of a medium-sized asteroid.
And it also could cause tsunamis. Something hitting the Pacific ocean would more immediately devastate
the California Coast, while hitting the Atlantic ocean would more quickly affect the Eastern seaboard.
Over 2000 years ago, notice what the Apostle John was inspired to write in the Book of Revelation 8:10- 11:

“Then the third angel sounded: And a great star fell from heaven, burning like a torch, and it fell on a third of the rivers
and on the springs of water. The name of the star is Wormwood. A third of the waters became wormwood, and many
men died from the water, because it was made bitter.”

And while Wormwood does not have to be a comet, it sounds more like one than an asteroid.

In addition to looking like a star falling from the heavens (and an asteroid could possibly do that), comets
normally appear with cyanogen. Astronomers state hydrogen cyanide on comets may be their source of
cyanogen gas. Interestingly, the cyanogen gas mixes with water to form hydrogen cyanide, which has an
almond odor and bitter taste, and reportedly causes death at concentrations over 5 parts per million.

And thus for Bible skeptics, the fact that before humans had any idea that comets could produce a
poisonous bitter water, it is recorded in the Bible. This should be additional proof to those willing to see that
the Bible has been inspired by God.

Sometime after the earth is hit by “Wormwood”, notice what else the Bible predicts:

“Then the fourth angel poured out his bowl on the sun, and power was given to him to scorch men with fire. And men
were scorched with great heat, and they blasphemed the name of God who has power over these plagues; and they
did not repent and give Him glory.” (Revelation 16:8-9)

So, if the report in New Scientist is somewhat accurate it may be that the crash will contribute to the
depletion of ozone which will cause higher radiation, and possibly higher heat, to be on the earth. What the
angel may pour out of his bowl (which is unspecified), may reduce the protection from high heat even
further. Thus, it may be that some scientists are getting a glimpse into what the Book of Revelation predicts,
even though most of them will still ignore its warnings.

The book of Revelation describes these judgements as instruments of Gods wrath on a world which has to
a large extent accepted the Antichrist. However when the fragile world government agenda is hit continually
by these major health, financial and ecological disasters it will create the conditions where nations will
realign for common interests and break away from the yoke of the Antichrist rule.

Furthermore it is also important to understand that it is Satan’s intention to thwart the anticipated Second
Coming of Christ and possibly destroy the nation of Israel in the process. By drawing the full might of the
world’s armies into the Middle East, it is a last ditch attempt to use the might of men to try and oppose the
second Coming of Christ or through the final phases of the Armageddon war seek for the destructive
element of the war to destroy Israel in the process and thus derail the coming of the Messiah to save his
people.

We have already seen in the past how previous leaders such as Ronald Reagan have commented on how
quickly the world would reprioritise and unite to fight a common enemy from outside the earth realm. It

would be very easy for Satan to plant the seed into the minds of men involved in bloody war that the coming
of Christ is actually a UFO threat from space. it is at this time that the war comes to a speedy conclusion.

Furthermore Satan places no value on the life of mankind and would easily sacrifice millions of lives
through a bloody war for the sole purpose of trying to oppose Christ coming and destroy Israel in the
process.

Could this be the reason that billions of dollars are being set up to create an earth defense shield against
possible threats from outer space. Could it be that from a humanly perspective whilst we are seeing such
initiatives as a defense against the threats of asteroids and UFOs, that the ultimate end game is for Satan
to use these tools of technology to make one last spectacular move to thwart the arrival of Jesus Christ or
possibly facilitate the possible destruction of the earth in a move to wipe out the entire population of the
earth and prevent the fulfilment of prophecy.

Can you imagine the earth already going through significant calamity as a result of these judgements and
then experiencing a bloody war as the Antichrist new world order self destructs only to then face the arrival
of an intelligence from outer space in the arrival of Jesus Christ and the host of heaven. It is at this point
that one would witness the climactic concentration of all the planning of the powers of darkness over the
decades in drawing the might of the world armies into the Middle East and influencing mankind to finally
press the button on the nuclear and space wars programs to attack the outside invader.

The plan has no disregard for human life because if it fails to halt the Second coming of Christ the
destructive fall out from these killer space laser and nuclear weapons would end up destroying the whole
earth including the promised land. Then Satan would have achieved some measure in preventing the
prophecy of Christ descending to the Mount of Olives and Israel realizing that their messiah has returned as
all would have been destroyed.

Another point of consideration is that at the time of the Second coming of Christ that Satan and his angels
would have been restricted to operating within the earth realm. As mentioned earlier their present abode in
the heavenlies would have been removed in the war described in Revelation 12 which takes place several
years before the second coming of Christ.

This is a strategic move by the armies of heaven because they would know that as they seek to move into
the earth realm that Satan and his armies would have possibly tried to first thwart the coming of Christ in
the heavenlies. By stripping Satan of his power as the prince of the power of the air the strategic move of
Almighty God is that both Satan, his angels and mankind are over powered and defeated at the same time.
The victory is swift and decisive without complication. We know this because in the crushing of the earth’s
military might we also see that the Antichrist and False prophet are seized and that Satan and his angels
are also bound as Christ comes to set up his millennial kingdom reign on earth

"And I saw the beast, the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against Him who sat on
the horse and against His army. Then the beast was captured, and with him the false prophet who worked signs in his
presence, by which he deceived those who received the mark of the beast and those who worshiped his image. These
two were cast alive into the lake of fire burning with brimstone. And the rest were killed with the sword which
proceeded from the mouth of Him who sat on the horse. And all the birds were filled with their flesh" Revelation 19:19–
21

“And I saw an angel coming down out of heaven, having the key to the Abyss and holding in his hand a great chain. 2
He seized the dragon, that ancient serpent, who is the devil, or Satan, and bound him for a thousand years. 3 He
threw him into the Abyss, and locked and sealed it over him, to keep him from deceiving the nations anymore until the
thousand years were ended.” Revelation 20:1-3

When Christ returns, the rebellious nations of the earth will fear Him as an invader who has come to take
away their power. Can you imagine the combined force of all the nations' military power being unleashed
against Christ as He descends from heaven? Yes, the armies of rebellious nations will fight against the
Messiah as He returns from heaven! The prophecy of Ronald Reagan will at last be fulfilled.

What if all of us in the world discovered that we were threatened by a power from outer space, from another planet?"

How will Christ respond? John describes the scene:

"Now I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse. And He who sat on him was called Faithful and True, and in
righteousness He judges and makes war. His eyes were like a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns. He
had a name written that no one knew except Himself. He was clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is
called The Word of God. And the armies in heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean, followed Him on white
horses. Now out of His mouth goes a sharp sword, that with it He should strike the nations. And He Himself will rule
them with a rod of iron. He Himself treads the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. And He has on
His robe and on His thigh a name written: KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS" (Revelation 19:11–16).

And what will be the result of that battle? John describes:

"Then I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the birds that fly in the midst of
heaven, 'Come and gather together for the supper of the great God, that you may eat the flesh of kings, the flesh of
captains, the flesh of mighty men, the flesh of horses and of those who sit on them, and the flesh of all people, free
and slave, both small and great'" (Revelation 19:17–18).

Jesus Christ will conquer all nations that oppose Him. The victorious Prince of Peace will set up His
government to rule all nations. The Kingdom of God will rule the nations of planet Earth with justice and
equity. That is the good news in which we rejoice!

So, who will win the space race? The encouraging answer is: Jesus Christ will win the space race! He has
all power in the universe. Christ upholds "all things by the word of His power" (Hebrews 1:3). Or, as the
Moffatt translation states it, He "sustains the universe by his word of power."

We look forward to the ultimate future of peace on earth, peace in space and peace in the heavens. After a
thousand years of Millennial peace, God's plan will then move into another stage. Notice:

"Then I, John, saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned
for her husband. And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, 'Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will
dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God. And God will wipe
away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for
the former things have passed away'" Revelation 21:2–4

Yes, a glorious future lies ahead for the heavens and for planet Earth. May God help you to prepare for that
awesome destiny regardless of the godless plans and aspirations of our present fallen world.
