THRUST REVERSER DEACTIVATION/

ACTIVATION

This task explains the procedure for deactivating and

activating the thrust reverser by inhibiting the
isolation valve by the use of the manual inhibit lever.

The procedure is quite straight forward and is as

follows:-

• Open right hand fan cowl door.

• Get access to the isolation control valve unit.
• Remove the quick release pin.
• Move lever to inhibited position.
• Refit quick release pin.

Activation is carried out as follows:-

• Open right hand fan cowl door.

• Get access to the isolation control valve unit.
• Remove quick release pin.
• Move lever to not inhibited position.
• Refit quick release pin.
