CANDIDATES WILL NOT BE ALLOWED ENTRY TO THE EXAMINATION CENTRE WITHOUT THE PRINTED COPY OF THE
ADMIT CARD. DIGITAL COPY OF THE ADMIT CARD IS NOT VALID.
This Admit Card does not constitute an offer of admission.
You are provisionally permitted to appear for DAT Prelims Exam 2020 as per the schedule given on Page-1.
The gates of the examination centre will be closed 30 minutes before the commencement of examination, after which no
candidate will be allowed entry under any circumstances.
You must bring any ONE valid Original photo ID proof for verification, such as (i) Voter ID Card, (ii) PAN Card, (iii) Driving
License, (iv) Student ID issued by current school/ college (v) Passport (vi) Aadhar Card, etc. to the examination centre.  In
case you do not have any of the above photo ID proofs, please get both Part “A” and Part “B” of this Admit Card attested by
the Principal of your current school/college or a Gazetted Officer.
Candidates without valid Original ID proof will not be permitted for the examination (Photocopy/Digital Copy is not valid).
Candidates must bring lead pencil (of varying grades), colors (such as oil pastels/color pencils/sketch pens, etc.) eraser,
sharpeners, ruler etc. for the purpose of examination.
Note that the items listed hereby are strictly NOT allowed inside the examination centre: mobile phone, digital/smart
watch, bag, handbag, papers, notes, books, calculator, electronic gadgets, correction marker/white fluid, etc.  It is clarified
that there will be no arrangements at the Examination Centres for keeping the aforesaid items.  If any item is lost, the
Exam Centre and NID will not be held responsible.  Candidates are, therefore, advised either not to carry the
aforementioned items with them on the date of the examination or to make their own arrangements for keeping such
items in safe custody at their sole risk. 
Any candidate found using or to be in possession of such unauthorized material or indulging in copying or adopting unfair
means is liable to be summarily disqualified.
Possessing any electronic device such as mobile phone, tablets, calculator etc. by the candidate inside the examination
center before completion of the examination will be considered as attempting to take or send the Question-cum-Answer
Booklet in full or in part outside the examination hall. Appropriate civil and/or criminal proceedings will be initiated against
any candidate taking, or attempting to take, or send, the Question-cum-Answer Booklet in full or in part outside the
examination hall besides cancellation of his/her candidature.
There will be NO Negative Marking for wrong answer.
DO NOT carry the Question-cum-Answer Booklet or any part thereof outside the examination hall before completion of
examination. Doing so is a punishable offence.
No candidate will be allowed to leave the examination hall before the end of examination.
The candidate should ensure that he/she fulfills all the eligibility conditions for admission. The admission at all stages of
the examination for which he/she is admitted will be purely provisional and subject to his/her satisfying the eligibility
criteria. If upon verification at any stage of the admission prcoess it is found that the candidate does not fulfill any of the
eligibility criteria, his/her candidature shall stand cancelled without any notice or further reference.
Request for change of examination centre and date will not be entertained.
Any attempt to influence will lead to disqualification of candidature.
Discrepancies, if any, regarding your particulars in this admit card can be emailed to nid@applyaddmission.net at least 7
days prior to the Written Examination.

Instructions for the PwD candidates only:

1. All PwD candidates have to bring the relevant Certificate from "Format for PwD Candidates' as submitted during the online
application form (original as well as photocopy) at the time of the Exam.
2. All PwD candidates have to bring the copy of the Application form of the candidate appearing in DAT Prelims at the time of
the Exam.
3. In case the PwD candidate is opting for the Scribe facility, he/she needs to bring the followingdocuments at the time of
the Exam:
Duly filled in original "Certificate regarding physical limitation in an examine to write- Appendix I “(down load from
