6) You said that you were hit at 6.30 in the morning Sept 20 which is friday? You are also aware that
6.30 am is a rush hour correct? Do you also agree with me that Bangkerohan is near a public
market, a school and other establishments thus crowded with people going to work and school.
7) Then how come in the affidavit stated by Ms. Alaba she stated that “a man was crossing” meaning
you are the only one crossing.
Thus, it is possible that since you are crossing alone in a rush hour that it is not yet time to cross.
8) You said in your affidavit that you waited for the light to turn red correct? Are you also aware that
even if the light turns red, it’s not a clear indication that it is already safe to cross. You must wait
for the cross sign to light up and not base on the red light.
CCTV personnel
1) So you were able to gauge the speed through the CCTV footage only?
2) In your CCTV footage, the place where the accident happened is the road fronting mcdo correct?
3) When you review the CCTV footage, does the CCTV footage have any speed measuring device
attached to it?
4) I can see in the attachment that the CCTV footage merely shows a vehicle with no indicator of
speed in figures. So you merely gauge the speed using your own mind and guess?
Alaba Witness
1) You said that you saw the incident at 6.30 in the morning Sept 20 which is friday? You are also
aware that 6.30 am is a rush hour correct? Do you also agree with me that Bangkerohan is near a
public market, a school and other establishments thus crowded with people going to work and
school.
If we were able to establish that 6.30am is a rush hour and bangkerohan is crowded with people
how that in your affidavit you said that there is only “a man crossing” and you were able to help
him in the middle of the road alone?
So it is possible that since he was alone in the street when he was hit, it is not yet time to cross.
