Turning everyday conversations into gospel conversations
In early February, we’re being joined by a team from First Baptist Church, Farmington,
New Mexico, to learn together about having missional conversations. Please pick up the
separate flyer about this, but in particular keep Saturday 8th February free so that you can
come to the training day - 10am-3pm, in the Macfarlane Hall.
Sabbatical
Ian and Lindsey will be on sabbatical throughout February, March and April, and therefore unavailable. Linda
Bell is the duty deacon for February - please contact her if you have any pastoral concerns.
Also this month, we’re taking time to check how we’re using our time,
our skills, and our money. The word for that is “Stewardship”, and it’s
an important part of discipleship and being involved in a local church.
If you’re a regular part of this church family you should have had a pack
about this with a response form - if not, please ask at the welcome table.
It’s all leading up to a special service on Sunday 26th January, when we
will renew our covenant together, take new pledges for the King’s
Meadow Project, and have a bring and share lunch after the service,
followed by a time of prayer.
