Giovani Nel Mondo

• The Giovani Nel Mondo Association is an independent, non-profit, non-denominational,


and apolitical organization.
• The Association pursues educational and cultural goals at the national and international
level.
• Its primary focus is assisting and accompanying youth and young adults, between
eighteen and thirty years old, on their educational path and encouraging their
professional, academic, and socio-cultural growth.

International Careers Festival


The International Careers Festival is a networking and meeting opportunity between brilliant
young minds, institutions, companies, NGOs, and international organizations, whose 10th
edition will take place from the 9th to the 12th of March 2019 within the beautiful framework
of the city of Rome.

• ROME MODEL UNITED NATIONS - Diplomatic simulation of the United Nations.


Recommended for students of (or those interested in) international relations,
diplomacy, political science, law. It is the largest UN simulation in Europe and one of the
largest and most renowned in the world;
• ROME BUSINESS GAME - Simulation of business realities involving case study
competitions. Recommended for students of (those interested in) economics, business,
management, marketing, computer science. In Italy this is the first case of a business
simulation with a strong international stamp and an opportunity for internships and job
placement;
• ROME PRESS GAME - Journalism and media (web, TV, radio) simulation. Recommended
for students of (or those interested in) communication, media, translation and
interpretation, literature, philosophy. The only case in the world of a simulation entirely
dedicated to those who want to make communication and mass media their own
working future;
• INTERNATIONAL CAREERS COURSE - A guidance course filled with practical workshops
for a successful international career. Recommended for students from any
faculty/academic background. It's a unique opportunity to get in touch with experts in
the world of recruitment and international relations able to give practical advice both in
terms of orientation and access to the world of work.
• INTERNATIONAL CAREERS FAIR - The Fair is a large exhibition area open to both
participants and the public alike. It will be divided into two different sections: the
education/university area and the work/internship area. It favors the interaction
between thousands of students, whether they are looking for
study/training/internship/work opportunities, and industry experts.

2. ROME BUSINESS GAME


Presentation:
The Rome Business Game is the simulation dedicated to the world of
business, international markets, marketing, finance, economics and
business management.
300 participants from around the world will compete against each other for an opportunity
within the world of international business.
Participants will have the opportunity to meet business and marketing experts, acting as judges,
as they propose innovative solutions/products to challenges presented by those same experts.
They will also be developing and refining a set of soft skills which are often overlooked yet
essential for career success: learning the techniques for proper business management, analysis
and insight of business dynamics, team working, and practical problem solving. This is the first
case of a highly international business role-play in Rome that involves real business realities and
students from all over the world. The past editions were attended by important companies
from various sectors such as: Alitalia, Deloitte, LIDL Italy, as well as some NGOs well-known
among young people including Save the Children and UNICEF.

THE PROJECT
The Rome Business Game allows participants to interact in a truly multicultural environment,
working in English and developing managerial and technical skills which are extremely
important in today’s competitive international job market. Managers of our partner companies
will present practical business cases to the participants who, divided into teams, have to
propose a project (launch of a new product, innovative marketing campaign, practical
solution(s) to a company-wide problem, etc.). The winning team has the possibility of an
interview with a human resources manager of one of our partner companies or even an
internship.
