External Alarms

External Alarms from a Site may be collected by using External

Alarm cables originating from the alarm sensors via the krone
block.

FlexiEDGE or FlexiWCDMA may be used for Alarm

configuration.

External alarms need to be defined in the BSC if FlexiEDGE is

used.

External Alarms need to be defined at the NodeB if

FlexiWCDMA is used for external alarm monitoring.

FlexiEDGE External Alarm Test:

Connect the FSAA to the EAC port of the ESMA.

Connect the other end of the FSAA to the Krone -AlarmSensors
Alarms are defined in the BSC including the no: name:polarity.
Simulate alarm and observe them at the BTS and at the BSC.
