Media Removal: Step 1 – Drain Media into Storage Bags

Using a forklift place a empty


media bag below the Mill drain
valve.

Drain all the Grinding Media


into storage bags and safely
transport them to the loading
area.

Note:
The grinding beads
are round and
slippery on the
floor. Great care
needs to be taken
to prevent spillage
which would create
a slip and fall
hazard.

Media Removal: Step 2 – Remove Mill Feed Slurry Line

Carefully remove the mill feed Line from the block off valve. Always leave one bolt in
both flanges to ensure the pipe that is being removed is well supported before removal.

Media Removal: Step 3 – Remove Mill Chamber Base Plate

Support the base plate using the


forklift forks.

Remove the fasteners holding the


Chamber Base Plate into positon.

Using the forklift transport the


Chamber Base Plate safely to the
laydown area.

Note: Always ensure that all


instrumentation is
removed/disconnected
from the feed block
valve.
