LESSON PLAN HLTH 1202

LESSON ORGANISATION (based on: AC:HLTH)

Intention:
By the end of the lesson, students will able to incorporate the 5 different skills they have learnt into a game of football

Pre-lesson organisation:
- Ensure all balls are pumped up
- Ensure all equipment needed is available

Equipment:
- Full Football pitch
- 4 sets of bibs
- 5 footballs
- 16 football posts

Focus Areas: Active Play and Minor Games (AP), Fundamental Movement Skills (FMS), Games and Sport (GS)

9:00 Beginning class organization:

- Bring the class to a central point and get them to sit down
- Reflect on the skill from the last session- evasion
- Share with the students the lesson objective for the session
- teacher sets up a 20x20m square and asks students to stand in it
9:04 Warm up: Defender in General observations: - Teacher constantly moving

- Before the session started the teacher has already set up 2 small football fields using football posts

- Teacher numbers off students into 4 groups of 5 (mix of boys and girls)
- Teacher puts team 1 and 2 on one field and 3 and 4 on the other field

2. What have learnt, that they did not know at the start of the lesson?
• - The teacher asks the students what’s important in playing a successful game of Football
• The teacher debriefs on each football skill as this is the last session of the program
