Shaw Hotspot How to install your

To help ensure great experiences on our network, Shaw plans to support


a feature on certain Internet modems of new customers that will provide
Advanced WiFi Modem
the ability to broadcast a secondary WiFi network. To find out more
information about the secondary WiFi network, including how to disable
this feature, visit shaw.ca/ShawHotspot

Returning your old modem?


If required, please ensure you return your old modem as soon as
possible to avoid any unreturned equipment charges.

1. Place the old modem and power cord into any sturdy cardboard box
(ensure there is cushioning material around the modem).

2. Seal the box and affix the postage paid return label provided.

3. Drop off at any Canada Post mailbox or outlet.

4. Setting up your WiFi network


Network Name (SSID) :
Access the WiFi settings on your personal device, then select your
SPSETUP-#### modem’s Network Name (SSID) and join using the password from step 1.

will be automatically redirected to a network setup page where you can
customize your network name and password.

Note: If you are not automatically redirected to the network setup page,
type 10.0.0.1 in your web browser address bar to get to the network set
