ABSTRACT
In 16th century physician were of the opinion that magnet can be used for the treatment or eliminate
the diseases from the body. Here the reports about the chemical synthesis, protection, functionalization
and application of magnetic nanoparticles of nano structured system. Research of magnetic
nanoparticles for targeted drug delivery system and function of magnetic nanoparticles on particular
area are reviewed. Use of magnetic nanoparticles for cancer diagnosis has been advancing day by day.
This review is related to the multifunctional use of magnetic nanoparticles probes and their use in bio
imaging and nano medicine.
