• Maintains plantings near neighborhood signs and in Roy Lynch Park and refreshes dog waste
bag stations as needed.
□ Communications Committee
• Shares important Elmwood Park news and events via e-newsletter and social media channels.
• Maintains and develops neighborhood website to ensure up-to-date content that engages
current and prospective residents.
□ Events Committee
• Executes small and large yearly events (i.e. National Night Out, Halloween, Holiday Drop-In).
• Recruits and assists hosts for monthly Porch Parties between April and October of each year.
□ Government and Planning Committee
• Liaises with local government, law enforcement, and community organizations.
• Researches and applies for grants to support events and projects throughout Elmwood Park.
□ Membership Committee
• Leads yearly membership drive and maintains a database of all active memberships.
• Welcomes new neighbors to Elmwood Park.
