Respected Sir,

This mail is in reference to my concern being mentioned in my previous email trails. I would sincerely
request you to arrange a necessary meeting with the academic committee appointed by the Board of
Governance to keep track and monitor the progress of the students on timely basis.

I also would request you to provide with the report for checking the progress of the students or feedback
taken if any decided under the code of conduct by the Academic Management Committee. This letter is just
for bringing to your notice that it has become a routine habit to address the concern on delayed basis and
necessary solution of the same.

As mentioned about the concern that I am facing regarding my studies, I am feeling very helpless about the
issues being faced by me in the institution. Request you consider this as my primary concern for my
studies as I am very concerned for the grades and the knowledge base being provided in this university.

I had much expectations from this university but none of them were satisfactorily fulfilled. I have left enough
opportunity down the line and my elderly parents in India who wants to see me graduating from this
University. I just want to make sure that my career is not affected.

Hoping for a positive response from your end with all the clarifications of my concerns in a positive manner
as soon as possible!

Yours Sincerely,

Indraraj Dodiya

Room 215

(before our class).

Please, confirm that you are ready to meet at that time!

Dear Indraraj,

I wonder, maybe, only one thing about your recent email: who gave you this response “it depends on
you and you have to perform better.”?

You never addressed me specific questions related to the material of the course and never came up
for a consultation.

Please, settle this. Let’s make up an appointment and discuss your questions on the course.

I also invite Margarita Gladkova to join us.

Hello,

This is to inform you that I have gone through the materials provided. Also, I tried all the methods that
are listed above. But the response that I received is “it depends on you and you have to perform
better.” Then how do I get a solution to this. I found this as an unresponsive reply for an international
student in your institution trying to grasp and understand the concepts with extra efforts.

Also, in the email trail, it is mentioned that the students also take online courses for the same. I
wanted to clarify that do I also need to take extra classes for this course. If this was to be done, then
request you to specify the use of enrolling with this institution for the classroom program. Also, if I am
enrolling with the online courses, then will this serve my purpose of solving the real-life problems?

I am ready for discussing this matter with the concerned faculty but would be sincerely hoping for a
concrete solution for this issue as this is really hampering my grades and performance.

Regards!

Dear Indraraj,

In the blackboard folder of this course you can find all the rules and grading system, as well as
course reading materials that may help you to understand the course.

Generally what can help you to improve your performance in any course is the following:

• ask questions during the class

• read course books and revise lectures before and after the class
• address course and grading questions to the lecturer of the course after the class and during
consultation hours

Have you tried and did everything that is listed?

As for this specific course I also know that students take some online courses in addition to the
course and some courses were advised to you by the professor.

I put in CC of this email your professor Evgenii Gilenko. Please make an appointment with him to
discuss this issue. If needed I can join it.
Best regards,

Margarita Gladkova

Dear Sir,

This is to bring under your notice that I am really worried about my grades in Statistical
Programming with Python and my performance seems to be very low.

I am not sure what is the reason for the same. But if this continues then I will not be able to get
through the subject neither with the grades and neither with the learning of programming. I have big
expectation from the programme at GSOM and I am trying my level best to perform in the subject.
This is a very important subject for my career.

Please help me if there is something that you can do to improve my academic performance. I am
sure you could understand my situation.

I would also request if there is any Tutor available for weaker student like me who really wants to
improve its performance.

Waiting for your prompt response.

Thank you,

Sincerely Yours,

Indraraj Dodiya

Dear Indraraj,

Your message is duly received.

Before saying anything in return, I would like to discuss the matter with Prof. Gladkova and Prof. Gilenko,
especially in light of the consultation you were supposed to have with Prof. Gilenko regarding your
performance at his course and the outcomes of that meeting.

Please, note, that as from Saturday I will be on vacation for 2 weeks, therefore there might be a delay with
my reply.
Br,

Vitaly

Dear Indraraj,

I have addressed to and discussed your matter with our Centre for Coaching, who have rich and proven
experience dealing with students’ issues.

I think it would be a good idea for you to contact them, set an appointment, meet and discuss how we
could together resolve your concerns regarding your academic performance.

You may contact either Ms. Maria Dorokhina or Mr. Andrey Zamulin (both CC-ed) at your discretion.

I hope that upon my return from vacation at the end of November I will hear good news from you and my
colleagues.

Meanwhile good luck with your upcoming studies.
