I. INTRODUCTION

This Chapter presents the Propose name of the business, Address of the business, Name of the
Owners, Description of the business, and the Funding requirements and sources.

Propose name of the business

When we first decide the name of our company, we wanted to name after our names
initial DRLR but then we find it very common and boring so we changed it and name it after our
company owner’s nickname “Su Wang” and we think Su Wang was a great name.

Address of the Business

Our business outlet address is at Escalante National High School Brgy. Alimango,
Escalante City Negros Occidental.

Name of the Owners

Su Wang Company is owned by its four founders named Roy Villacastin, Daniela Rios, Lj
Mae Cabatania and Roselyn Narciso.

Description of the Business

Food is a basic need and food service industry will always continue in demand. Su Wang
is the answer to an increasing demand for snacks type of food. Our company is designed to
create a community atmosphere as good, friendly, positive, and healthy food products to offer.
Su Wang business focus only on selling 2 kinds of food products, the Cheesestick which is a
snack-type and Tortalong which is a viand. Our product supply will come from local supplier with
a preference for organically grow products. We provide our customers a 100% satisfaction and
maintaining the level of excellent services among other competitors. We want “Word of mouth”
to be our best form of marketing, where our customers value our brand as something delicious
and cannot wait to tell their friends with.

Location of the Business

Our first location is inside the school campus, near the School Canteen of Escalante
National High School at Brgy. Alimango, Escalante City.

Su Wang has 30 employees; on the other hand the estimated salary for each of the employees is
15,000 pesos per month.

This chapter focuses on the Vision, Mission, Goals and Objectives, Business and product
position, Business Model and Parties supporting the business.

Vision

At Su Wang we aim to strategically position ourselves to meet the various needs of the
consumers in terms of snacks and viand for everyday by marketing and selling food od a
consistently good quality. The Confidence that consumers have in us is a result of our
company’s capability in marketing and selling, as well as continuity.

Mission

Our mission is to create value for both producers and consumers for our products and
service, serve the nutritional needs of our co-student of Escalante National High School and
to provide platform by corporate social responsibility.

Goals and Objectives

Our foremost priority is to provide excellent food services to the students and staff of
Escalante National high School and the surrounding community by establishing a successful
social enterprise.

Our goals and objectives include:


 Providing excellent customer services that enhances the rapport with students and
other customers through responsiveness to their needs and request.
 Achieve specific financial goals.
 Ensure customer satisfaction and build a repeat customer base.

Business and product position

We want to focus only on selling Cheesestick and Tortalong. Alcohol drinks will not be
sold in our outlet, as Su Wang promotes a healthy and positive customers lifestyle. Our
signature sauce is exclusively manufactured by J&C Company and surely our customers can
enjoy Su Wang’s food products.

Parties supporting the business

Ideal business support is a full service support agency for the insurance industry. One of
the parties supporting our business is our habitué markets where we buy our supplies that
we need in making our products. They offer us supplies with discount because of our
frequently buying their products.

This Chapter presents the Macro Environmental analysis which consists of Economic,
Political-Legal, Socio Cultural, Demographic, Technological and Natural. Also, Micro
Environmental Analysis which consist The Company, Supplier Marketing Intermediaries,
Customers, Competition, and Publics.

A. Macro- Environmental Analysis

Economic
Food is basic human need an d is therefore a necessity for survival. In economic terms
this means that basic demand for food will always be high. Although we offer only 2 kinds of
food to sell that vary to where of the students like Su Wang Company has adjusted to these
Variations in preference and sensitivity to price in different places that it operated. One of Su
Wang example is opening or moving our business in different places that where we can legally
sell our products from its packaging, to pricing, to taste.

Politico-legal
Su Wang is a local company and the food industry we are just one of the smallest
business in our local. Another factor is the impact regulations has hold to on Su Wang. The local
food industry is one of the most highly regulated industries in the local. Su Wang for example
had to face multiple fliers of regulations when have inevitably affected our products.

Socio-Cultural
Culture, religion and average age of population tends to dictated or are at the way least
have an influence on food consumption patterns. Currently, there is a growing interest from the
public for products that are made from natural ingredients. Su Wang is aware of this and can be
seen in our few products, one example is Tortalong and Cheesestick have different flavors and
textures and meet local taste of our product.

Demographic
Escalante National High School has around 3,529 students from Junior High School to
Senior High School. Growth in the School aged population may provide opportunities for our
company to produce our product. The Target market is all students of ENHS, (Male and Female
of all ages). The gender mix of the population and the distribution of the population by age are
all relevant in this brand marketability.

Technology
The food industry in general has adapted an advance technology in an attempt to
deliver healthier, fresher and variety. However this requires improving the quality of raw
materials used which is rather challenging given the scope of operation that Su Wang has
furthermore, technology has enabled other packaging of products which has boasted efficiency
and reduced costs.

Natural
Our food company is positioned near from the green environmental approach large
trees and green grasses surround our school place. Huge oxygen emissions are involved in the
entire process of our manufacturing. Su Wang like many other food company is therefore
required to take part in several environment efficient initiatives. So our company chooses to use
an environmental friendly packaging of our products to avoid scatters of plastics and reduce
pollutions.

Su Wang’s is operating in a many competitive markets inside our school campus. In


order to maintain our position of the competition it is important to understand company’s

The supplies in this industry are low because of the sheer number of available supplies and
markets to purchase from. It is important to point out that the raw materials in question here
are cheese, wrapper, vegetables, oil and eggs just to name a few which can easily be purchased
in open market as well.

Marketing Intermediaries

The company promotes sale and distributed our product to the customer in Escalante
National High School. We offer food which is the Tortalong and Cheesestick that are affordable
for every students and teachers. We have the honor of the company willing to serve everybody.
Intermediaries can help us to promote our product without using a lot of money. The most
common intermediaries are distributor, wholesalers and retailers. We choose distributer
because in Escalante National High school. The seller must be good at communicating to the
students or the customer.

Customers

The customers in the food industry are high. This is because typically buyers are large
retailers like the students and teachers. These buyers are financially strong preferred to buy our
product which is very affordable for them. There are more majority of buyers are students
which has a huge need of snacks for recess and viand for lunch. Customers create the demand
for products and services. Some customers are having high expectation about the product which
the seller must meet. When treat your customer with respect and patience, there’s a possibility
that the customer will share their experiences with relatives and friends which can result
additional sale. In the other hand, when customer is not satisfied of the experience they share is
will dissuade other people from our product. Acquiring and keeping customers in the end good
of business because customers create demand.

The competition in the food market is very high. Su Wang has to compete with strong
competitors like the school canteen of Escalante National High school and other vendors outside
the campus who has a similar business within the location of our business. School canteen is a
strong competitor, they serve almost of all the food products that student needs for snack and
lunch. They also have a good brand products remarkable market share and long business
history. On this competitive situation, Su Wang needs to consider its competitors power to
ensure its dominating position.

Publics

The Su Wang business is owned and manages by Roy Villacastin. The initial investment and
startup capital is worth ₱500.00 that from our seeking fund, and the amount of money
accumulated is used to finance business initial needs and operation. This will more than cover
start up requirements, and provide the business with a cash cushion to use for expansion over
the first three years.

This chapter focuses to the Nature of organization, Product and service that is planning to

Nature of the Organization

Su Wang is a partnership composed of Four Founder by Roy Villacastin, Daniela Rios, Lj Mae
Cabatania and Roselyn Narciso.

Product and service that is planning to produce

Su Wang offers a snacks and lunch menu. Snacks will include such items as cheese stick and
lunch will consist of Tortalong. Any of the snack and lunch entrees can be premade, or prepare
in two to three minutes to ensure rapid serve and high customer satisfaction.

Size of the Propose business

Su Wang is currently the creative idea of its four founders and the company is small in
nature.

Various Plan and Office equipment

The Company rented the following office equipment as the equipment to be used in the
business operation. The butane costing ₱50.00, and other cooking equipment.

Future Parties with whole contract if necessary

However, as we grow further we want Cabalen Restaurant to be our future business


partner. Cabalen is one of the best buffet restaurants in the Philippines serving Filipinos through
the best and freshest Filipino food selections. Cabalen takes tremendous pleasure and pride in
creating and serving every Filipino meal and an experience to go with it.

Personnel Equipment

Su Wang Workers are responsible for serving customers at any-time. Formal educations
are not required for this job. However, general math and comprehension skills are required.
Employees must learn about food safety, sanitization and health regulations.

Administrative Operation

Su Wang will be open for 5days a week for snacks and lunch requiring multiple hours.
We will write the schedules. Su Wang will rely on operational checklist to verify that each work
has been properly prepared for and to insure the operational standards are followed before,
during and after work. Su Wang will be responsible for ordering, receiving and maintaining
sufficient inventory to meet production demands. Standard product and supply orders will be
ordered less often according to a predetermined schedule and storage.

This role and responsibilities range from the moment an applicant. Expresses an
interest in working for the company to the employees last day on the job. The staff
expertise, knowledge of industry practices and experience create a recipe for restaurant
success.

 Owner
As a small business owner can have a lifestyle of freedom and flexibility not
offered to an employee. However, being a small business owner also carries greater
responsibility with many more tasks to juggle most small business have limited
resources when launching which means that, as the owner , the nature of your business.

 Marketing

No matter how good your product or service is, you need marketing to drive
business. Marketing strategies and implementations vary widely, depending on the
business, and could include tactics such as print advertising, public relations, online
