A: I am Dence Cris Rondon, I am 30 years old, a Doctor of Medicine employed for doctors
without boundaries, and presently living at Poblacion, Manolo Fortich, Bukidnon

2. Q: Are you the same Dence Cris Rondon, petitioner in this case?

A: Yes, I am.

3. Q: When did you start working as a doctor abroad?

A: On May 2013

4. Q: Where were you assigned?

A: Liberia

5. Q: Do you have a contract with your employer?

A: Yes.

6. Q: How long is the term of one contract?

A: 1 year

7. Q: Can you remember where you were assigned for your first contract?

A: In Liberia

8. Q: When did your first contract end?

A: May 2014

9. Q: Do you have a copy of your contract?

A: Yes.

10. Q: When this first contract end, what did you do next, if any?

A: I went back home and proposed marriage to my girlfriend.

A: Paola Kathlynn Lleno

A: She said, yes.

13. Q: How long have you known your girlfriend at the time of the proposal?

A: Since childhood.

14. Q: How did you first meet her?

A: We were childhood friends. We became sweethearts when we graduated from college.

A: For 8 years

A: June 14, 2014

A: Yes.

A: No.

A: We left for our honeymoon.

A: We had sexual intercourse.

A: I was busy preparing for my travel documents.

A: About 6 months

A: No.

A: 1 year.

A: My mother called me that my wife gave birth earlier than scheduled.

you while you were abroad?

A: Yes, on separate occasions either of they would call me and update me about events.

A: About what events in their lives, and how they were doing.

A: Sometimes about my mother and sometimes about my wife.

36. Q: Did you enjoy the stories they shared to you?

A: Not much, sometimes I would get confused because they had different stories.

A: The stories of my mother and my wife are different.

38. Q: So when your mother called you about the delivery of your baby what did you do next, if
any?

A: I filed an emergency leave and flew back to the Philippines.

A: December 30. 2014

A: I went straight to our house.

A: I went to look for my wife and the baby but I was met by my mother along the way and
she told me that my wife and the baby are still resting?

A: I asked my mom about the condition of the baby because I was worried.

43. Q: Worried, why were you worried?

A: I was worried because since the baby was born earlier than scheduled, the baby might
not be healthy.

A: My mother told me that the baby was perfectly healthy.

45. Q: What was your reaction when your mother told you about the baby?

A: I was happy but at the same time shocked because I thought the baby was premature.

46. Q: What did you do next, if any?

A: I went to the doctor and the doctor told me that the baby was born healthy and in full
term.

47. Q: What was your reaction, if any?

A: Shock, suspicious and angry.

48. Q: What did you do next, if any?

A: I confronted my wife and asked her if I was really the father of the baby

A: She got mad and was hurt by my accusations.

A: I left the conjugal home and stayed at a friend’s house for the meantime.

A: For the remaining 2 weeks of my leave.

52. Q: In those weeks, did you have any other conversation with your wife?

A: Yes, she would come visit me in my friend’s house to convince me to come home.

53. Q: When did this happen, if you recall?

A: No I do not, she came almost everyday,

A: I told her that I will not come home until she tells me the truth.

A: I sought the help of a lawyer because I don’t want to give support to the child because I
have a strong belief that the baby was not mine.

A: I pray to this Honorable Court that our marriage be annulled on the ground of the fraud
committed by my wife, respondent in this case.
