2. Student’s Club action
The President of Student’s Club presents the vision, mission and
the objective of the club. Everyone accepted and agreed after a
little alteration done together in order to improvise it. They also
created the logo of Student’s Club.

All club members agreed to collect club’s fee of RM 5 per month


to support club’s activities or program in future.

3. Future planning Info


A lot of activities have been planned. The first activities suggested
and agreed by all the member would be a visit to Rumah Tunku
Budriah. Date of visit will be confirmed later. Students will prepare
the proposal supervised by DO.

4. Others Info
SHS reinforce about rules and regulation of the college especially
the dress code. Monday will be the formal day and Wednesday
will be uniform day.
Any misregulation will be punished. Students have to pay RM 2
for each misregulation.

The visits will be held on the 21 March 2009 and 20 June 2009
for the second visit. The proposal is already prepared by the
member of student’s club.

The program will start from 7.00 am to 12.30 pm. All academic
staffs are involved. Briefing about the activities will be given the
day before the visits.

Transportation for students will be provided by the college. List of


equipment needed for the activities is already attached with the
proposal. DO will liased with En Khairudin to buy the equipment
required.

Each of academic’s staff agreed to pay RM 10 in order to provide


a presents for the children who are involves in the activities.

Report on the Visits to Rumah Tunku Budriah

On 21st March 2009 at 7.00am, we went to Rumah Tunku Budriah and we arrived there
at almost 8.00 am. We met the staff there and the manager of the Rumah Tunku
Budriah. She orientated us about the layout of the premises, introduce their staff and
brief us about the psychological and mental state of the children. She reminded us about
their acceptance to our presence. The children have been divided according to their
ages. Newborn to 3 years old are put together in the same places. Most of them are very
active and likes to seek attention.

Without any further due, the activities started with assisting the children in their routine
activities daily living especially bathing. Each of the students has an opportunity to bathe
them and performed a simple physical examination to the children.

After that, we moved to another groups of children. They are between 4 years old to 12
years old. We start our activities by selecting the participant for coloring, reading
competition and telematch. All of them are very active and pleased with our activities.

Last but not least, after distributing the ice-cream and packet drink to each of the
children, we gave away prizes to all the winners. All activities go very smooth because of
the help from the staff of Rumah Tunku Budriah itself. They participate and give their
cooperation to our students in ensuring the program to succeed.

We went home at 1.00 pm after saying goodbye to all the children and all the staff. The
second visits will be held on 20th June 2009 and a lot of improvement to our activities
needs to be done.

Visits to Rumah Tunku Budriah succeed and college received a
good compliment from them but still a lot of improvement can be
done for the second visits. All students achieved their objectives.
3. Issues of the club Info
Students need to be more active in planning their own activities.
They should not rely 100 % to college to plan an activities. Club
members suggested activities that can be done in the future as
listed below.

Future planning
1. Second visits to Rumah Tunku Budriah
2. Family Day/ Sports Day
3. Bowling Tournament
4. Outdoor Games

After discussed together, Second visits to Rumah Tunku Budriah


is going to be proceed on 20th June 2009.
4. Others Info
Students need to plan for other activities for the year of 2009.
But since they all will be going out for their clinical practices, there
will be no student’s activities for a while.

SHS and all lecturers welcomed the new batch of students. RMN
briefed about the Student’s Club vision, mission, objectives and
activities that already done.

3. Issues of the club Info


Students need to be active in order to plan activities.
Club members suggested activities that can be done in the future
as listed below.

Future planning
1. Family Day / Sports Day
2. Bowling Tournament
3. Outdoor games
4. Traditional games
5. Camping
6. Nurses Day
All of the activities will be screened and proceed according to the
condition.
The second visits to Rumah Tunku Budriah that have been
planned are cancelled because of some reason that cannot be
avoided.

The proposal for Bowling games are already accepted and
agreed by the council.

All academic staffs are encouraged to participate. For nursing


students group 1, group 2, group 3 that practical at Ampang
Hospital and Healthcare Management group 1 are compulsory to
join the games.

The games will be held on the 6th February 2010 at bowling centre
in e-curve Mutiara Damansara. It will start at 11.30 am. Students
need to gather there at 11.00 am.

Each of the students and staff need to pay RM 8.50 as fees.


There will be no transportation because e-curve is near to the
student’s hostel.
Students need to wear the college shirt and a descent pant.

The proposal for Traditional games (outdoor activities) are already
accepted and agreed by the council.

All academic staffs are encouraged to participate. For Healthcare


Management students group 1 and group 2, nursing students
group 3 are compulsory to join the games.

The games will be held on the 3rd July 2010 at Padang laying-
layang, Selayang. It will start at 8.00 am until 1.00 pm. Students
need to gather there at 7.30 am.

Each of the students need to pay RM 5.00 as fees. Transportation


will be provided. 2 buses are going to fetch the student at their
hostel at 6.45 am.
Students need to wear the college shirt, track suit and sport
shoes.
