3. How do I register?
Response: Before you are able to apply for a job with ADB you must register and complete the
registration form. Log in at ADB Recruitment Centre (ARC). After you have entered ARC you will be
asked to create an account. This involves providing personal information, education and qualifications,
job history, countries of work experience, publications, languages, and information technology skills. An
ARC generated curriculum vitae will result, but you may also attach your own curriculum vitae/resume
and other documents to your account.
4. How long does it take to complete the registration form? Do I need to input all
information at one time?
Response: You should schedule about one hour to complete the registration form. The time needed all
depends on the extent of information you need to input, for example your job history. You do not need
to input the information all at once as long as you save each screen as you complete it.
6. How long will “My Account” remain active? Does it have an expiration date?
Response: Yes, there is a 1 year expiration date from when you last login to ARC.
13. Will my application be automatically considered for vacancies that require the skills and
competencies that I possess, or will I have to apply to be considered?
Response: No. Once you register with ARC and create a profile, your profile with be reviewed by the
human resources division and may be put forward for consideration for future vacancies. It is your
obligation to apply for actual vacancies, if you want to be considered for them.
15. Will I be notified if there is a vacancy for the positions I have specified?
Response: It is not possible for the human resources division to notify you of any vacancies in areas you
may be interested in. All vacancies are listed on www.adb.org/employment.
