METHODOLOGY

Research design

This study will use phenomenological research design. A study attempts to set
aside biases and preconceived assumptions about human experience, feelings, and
responses to a particular situation. This investigation will involve 18 participants 6
individual discussion and 12 focus group discussion.

Locale of the study

The population of city of tagum, the provincial capital of Davao del Norte, as of
august 1, 2015 was 259.444, based on the 2015 census of population (POPCEN 20150)
242,801 in 2010 and by 79,913 compared with the population of 179,531 in 2000. All
young female in tagum. The population 10,568. Researcher found out that tagum city is
the first class city and capital of Davao del Norte. The researcher choose tagum to
conduct interview, because it is the nearest location of the researcher.

Respondents of the study

The participants of this study is only young female in tagum city ages 12-17 years old
who are not yet married and experiencing sex.

Sampling techniques

Through purposive sampling techniques the selection criteria for this research.
The researcher will choose 1 person every ages lives in particular community in tagum
city.

Research instrument

The researcher use the key in format interview questioner to gather data will validate to
make sure that question of the researcher will be answer of their participant. The first
question will be ask to the participant is their ages, what are the advantage and
disadvantage of engaging pre-marital sex? , what are the insights of those female who
engage this kind of dilemma.

Data gathering procedure

The following steps will employ in gathering data:


First researcher will go to the place or location were the interview will conducted,
second, the participants were identified. they were requested to sign a consent from
their parents to agree to the condition stipulated that their participation is voluntary
and that they were willing to impart their knowledge as needed in the study third, the
participants were given an orientation about the study and were asked to participate
through a focus individual interview as a means of data collection. The process started
with an introductory phase, in which the moderator welcome the participants In the
concluding phase the moderator needed to ask if there are any issues or concerns that
require further discussion or have not yet been addressed. Because of the nature of the
session we also need to include a short winding down phase and some positive
feedback so that nobody leaves a session being dissatisfied with them or with the social
image they may have projected.
