production unit of our own. This is our first project in our subject
GPM under our course of Fashion Designing (Hons.). I have tried

 INTRODUCTION
We are stabiles a kids wear garment company. Its name is
RAINBOW Kids Fashion Wear. We are produce kids traditional
wear that’s like frocks, lehanga and other designer wear. The
honour of this company is Satyam . The financer of this company is
S.B.I. (RANCHI). The merchandiser of this company name is Mr.
Rajan Kumar .We produce comfort and designer kids wear. We
used row material form Surat , Mumbai and Pune. Way of company
for consumers, Reasonable price in the view of customer with
maintained quality product.
INDUSTRY :- A industry of kids wear to added in Fashion
World. Its name is RAINBOW Kids Fashion Wear. We produce
comfort and designer kids wear. We used row material form Surat ,
Mumbai and Pune.
FINANCER :- The financer of this industry (RAINBOW Kids
Fashion Wear) is S.B.I. (RANCHI). We will invest Rs 5 lakhs In
this company. Its Rs. 3 lakhs Finance from S.B.I. (RANCHI).
AREA :- The area of industry is 5000 sqr fit. The production
unit and office of the company is main road Ranchi were I have my
own land and building.
TARGET :- After market survey we found base of our design
and quality starting of industry 1000 pices of kids wear consume in
Ranchi. And extra for other places.

PROCEDURE

Deferent types of every company merchandising procedure. The

merchandiser responsible for the co-ordination of planning,
purchasing moving and controlling material in optimum manner
that is to customer at minimum cost. Merchandiser also to ensure
the continuously supply of row material sub-contractive items and
to reduce the cost of the goods. It also detail with the entire
purchase, store and wholesaler.

RIGHT SOURCE :- The raw material supplies should have

good image in market for product.

RIGHT QUANTITY :- The quantity should be according to the

product.
 MARKET SURVEY

In the Market Survey we survey of Present Market Position,

Expected Future Demand, Statistics of Imports & Exports, Export
Prospect and survey with wholesalers, retailers, consumers, Present
Manufactures. It is very important to successfully establish the
business in market. Our merchandiser Mr. Rajan Kumar Will do
the market survey. He will do the market survey and to know about
the latest cuts, styles and colours of the seasons. He will identify
that which type of material preferred by the consumers in the season
and what will be the demand of market. According to the Market
Survey the designers will design the garments and we will produce
products.
 SUPPLIERS ROW MATERIAL

ROW MATERIAL :- Row materials is the used to finished

good material and then create garments. For a create a garments to
used many types of row materials like fabrics, threads, buttons and
many more. Our company brought of row material from Surat,
Mumbai and Pune. The row material supplies should have good
image in market for product and cheap & best quality.

skills and talents of million of people absorbs a considerable portion
of consumers pending and plays a vital role in the company
economy. Fashion industry is the business of various and
excitement contrast. On one hand there is a rarified air of paris,
colour saloons presenting collections of ex-obediently priced made
to order designer originals at the other extreme are giant factories
that mass produce and distribute endless quantities of low price
apparel to town and cities across the country.
In this chapter GPM, we will discuss in details the various
industries that are concerned with the production and distribution of
fashion merchandise Row materials, apparels and accessories
production, foreign sources, relating and auxiliary enterprises when
we speak of the fashion business or garment production that term is
generally used to refer to all companies and individuals concerned
with the designs and production and distributions of textile and
apparel goods.
Key points or sources for fashions industries.
1. FASHION INDUSTRY
All companies and industrials concerned with the design and
distribution of textiles and apparel goods or all industries which
produce designs may be dress or accessories in bulk is known as
fashion industry.
2. ROW MATERIALS FOR FASHION INDUSTRY

Row materials for fashion industries are different for different

types of fashion house. They are the row materials house. They are the
row materials or unfinished goods which are used in the factory to make
the product.
For example:- It the industry is producing yarns the row materials
for then in fiber. In the same way the fabric prodding industries row
materials is your and for garment production industry row material
is fabric.

3. PRODUCTION

The process of converting row materials into the finished goods is

known as Production.
Production includes having row materials using it to create and
convert the unfinished goods into finished goods or in a simple way
production is the process of converting unfinished goods into
finished goods.

4. PRODUCTS

Products are the merchandise or apparels are product in the fashion

industry. There are different types of products for different
industries. There are many industries which concentrate on
producing specific products for specific customers.
For Examples:-
A) Industries devoted to the making of inner and outer wear
articles of wormer apparels.
B) Industries involved in the production of men wear.
C) Industries that make children’s apparel.
D) Industries that make accessories such as scarf’s, handbags,
shoes, gloves, violet, hosiery and jewellary.
Some of those industries saves for one sex or the other. Same serves
both sexes.

5. SELLING
Selling is the intermediate between consumers and the
manufacturer. In general terms we call then retailers. Retailing
includes all the activities involved in selling goods or services
directly to consumers. Any organizations that does this selling
whither a manufacturer or wholesalers or retailers is doing retailing.
It dose not matters how the goods or services are sold (by person,
by mail, by telephones or where) they are sold in stores on the street
or in consumers home.
