Sector Infocomm Technology

The Infocomm Technology (ICT) sector continues to play a key
role in Singapore’s economic development. According to the
IMDA Survey on ICT Manpower for 2016, the number of ICT
professionals employed grew by 7,200 or 4.2% from 2015 to
reach 180,000 in 2016. Together with 18,200 ICT job vacancies,
total demand of ICT professionals increased by 5,300 or 2.8%
from 2015 to reach 198,200 in 2016. Demand for ICT
professionals is projected to grow by another 42,300 in the next
three years (2017 – 2019). ICT also supports other sectors such
as healthcare, education and financial services by strengthening

areas of Software and Applications, Network and Infrastructure
and Critical Emerging Technology (such as Business Analytics
and Cyber Security).

Programme Name PCP for Digital Marketing Specialist

Lithan’s Professional Diploma in Digital Marketing Specialist is a
specialist level qualification which enables the learner to acquire
expertise in Digital Marketing Strategy and Execution.

The learner will be able to identify and analyse prospects, select

appropriate digital marketing channels for generating a plan,
implement and monitor various digital marketing campaigns to
offer their products and services.

The course enables the learner to acquire skills required to

monitor the marketing campaigns using Google Analytics and
quickly adapt their campaigns to the real-time online behaviour of
prospects and make their campaigns more effective.
Programme Overview This course is aligned with Singapore’s Skills Framework for ICT
and consists of the following module(s):
 Basic Digital Marketing (Mandatory)
 Advanced Digital Marketing (Mandatory)
 At least three (3) Elective Modules out of the following:
o Social Media Marketing
o Search Engine Optimisation & Marketing
o E-mail and Content Marketing
o Mobile Marketing
o Video Marketing
 Digital Marketing Capstone Project (mandatory), an all-
encompassing project in which the student will apply the
skills, and implement a project of his/ her own choice or a
Lithan project, under the guidance of experienced mentors.

Course Pre-Requisites Individuals
(e.g.: Academic qualifications, prior General Eligibility Criteria:
experience, etc.)  Singapore Citizen (SC) or Permanent Resident (PR);
 Minimum 21 years old; and
 Graduated or completed National Service, whichever is
later, for at least two years; and
 Not in a similar job function prior to joining the PCP.

Course-Specific Entry Criteria:

 2 GCE “A” Level passes or ITE any specialization with 2
credits or Diploma any specialization with 2 credits or any
one of its equivalent; and
 IELTS 5.5 or its equivalent; and
 Enrolment for the PCP is subject to employer’s selection
based on job requirements, and hiring process that may
include screening tests and interviews.

 Be registered or incorporated in Singapore; and
 Be committed to work with WSG and its appointed
Programme Manager on the necessary administrative
matters related to the PCP; and
 Offer employment directly related to the job which the PCP
is for, with remuneration that is aligned with the market
rate; and
 Commit to the PCP training arrangements for the trainees.
