A general introduction to the broad themes of political and social philosophy: how human life is and should be organized into

1. Identify the major issues of social and political philosophy;
2. Identify the major philosophers who have contributed to a discussion of the problems of social and political philosophy and
their proposed solutions to these problems;
3. Interpret, summarize, and paraphrase, both orally and in writing, the views of these philosophers as expressed in the
