Practice of this axiom made me diligent besides developing my love towards the work I do. I am Harnisha
Desai, 19 years old. I have completed my Higher Secondary in Humanities (ARTS) from the reputed TERF School,
affiliated to Gujarat Board of education. It is one of the best schools for arts, commerce and science studies with
outstanding faculties and well equipped classroom. My schooling gave me detailed studies of all vital subjects. It has
expanded my horizons and I have always maintained good grades in preliminary exams and final exams.

Education Details & Work Details.

I have completed Secondary School Certificate in March 2017 with 48.45 %, Higher Secondary Certificate in March
2019 both from Gujarat Board with 50.4 %. Adding with that, I have completed a professional photography course
from SKYBLUE institute consisting in-studio photography as well as nature photography.

As a part of SKYBLUE institute’s students’ project, I was assigned as a script-writer of a short film named – MY
WISH. A five minute short DOCU-SERVEY revolves on traditional views about educated women in India.

Selecting California State University.

I have selected as CSU has over 100 years of history. Started out as a small School of Art in borrowed teaching
rooms and have grown into one of the USA's top modern universities with a local, national and international
reputation for teaching and research excellence.
At California State University, LA, the mission of the Liberal Studies (Blended Program) is to provide a strong
knowledge-based education in the liberal arts that will provide subject matter preparation for elementary teaching or
foundation preparation for other professions such as law, medicine, journalism, and various fields of public service.

The blended program allows students the opportunity to blend subject matter preparation and teacher preparation by
offering coursework in both areas concurrently.

As liberal studies candidates prepare for entrance into the teaching profession or other careers, they are provided
expert assistance from the campus Career Services Office. Assistance in preparing placement files, preparing for job
interviews, and searching for suitable employment is readily available for each candidate.

Future Plans.

My initial plans is to study first and enjoy my academic journey, I also plan to be a master graduate in the same
field. Bachelors of Liberal Arts will give me wings to pursue my career in the artistic field which I dream upon.
