Acknowledgement

I express my sincere gratitude to my guide Prof. Pranav Nerurkar for the constant guidance
and the valuable insights they provided. Regular discussions with them helped me understand
the problem statement better. This work wouldn’t have been possible without their guidance,
optimism and faith in me.

I would also like to thank my teachers in digital signal processing labs, Department of
Computer Engineering, Atharva College of Engineering for providing key insights,
simulating discussions and a friendly environment to work in. Most importantly, this work
would not have been possible without the computing resources provided by this lab.

I am grateful to our HOD of the department Prof. Suvarna Pasambal ,Principal Dr

S.P.Kallurkar ,Director Dr P.N.Nemade ,Chairman Sunil Rane and all the Professors of
Computer Science Department, Atharva College of Engineering who imparted the knowledge
and the skill of critical thinking, without which this work would not have been possible. I
would especially like to express my gratitude to the teachers whose passion for their work
inspired and motivated me to do mine, to the best of my ability.

I would like to thank my friends at Atharva College of Engineering for constantly motivating
me and making my stay here memorable. A special mention for Kunal, Rutik, Simran for all
the adventures we together embarked upon, especially for being there when no one was
around.. I would also take this opportunity to acknowledge with gratitude and love, my
friends in PC Lab for all the support, help and guidance they provided and for the wonderful
memories I made with them. I would like to acknowledge my parents and my siblings for
their constant faith in me and for the support they provided. I would also like to thank those
who were there for me when needed, who I might have failed to acknowledge here. Last but
not the least, I would like to thank the Almighty for his blessings.

3.2.5 Functionality
System should be capable of running on machines with both low and high conFiguration.
Functionality is the sum or any aspect of what a product, such as a software application or
computing device, can do for a user. The functionalities provided by this system can be seen in
any computing device which has VB.net installed in it.

System Requirements:

Hardware Requirements : 1. Power supply

2.Metal pad
3. USB to TTL
4. ICs required for amplifier circuit
5. LEDs and wires for connection

Software requirement : 1. Microsoft visual studio

2. Windows XP or higher
3. 2GB RAM
4. USB 2.0

Thus we have studied and analyzed all the requirements of our system. All the stated
requirements are clear, complete, consistent and unambiguous. This will help us in the successful
development of our project.
5.2 SOFTWARE IMPLEMENTATION

The software implementation includes different modules which are as follows:

1.1.1. Port Selection

When the USB TTL is connected to the laptop the USB port is enabled and it is
shown in the dropdown. We first have to select the port and click on “Select” button.
The port will be reconfigured

1.1.2. Sending and Receiving Text

If the user wants to send simple text message he/she has to write the message in the
textbox, touch the copper pads at sending and receiving side and click on “Send”
button.

1.1.3. Sending and Receiving File

If the user wants to send a file(doc file, img file) he/she has to click on “Attach File”
button, select the file and click ”OK”. The progress bar at transmitting and receiving
side starts running unless the whole file gets
