The management information system (MIS) has a primary task of helping an organization become and
stay efficient and effective. Managers use this computer-based system to organize, analyze, and execute
plans to help the organization flow and accomplish its goals. The system can be used to study information
in the form of employees, cost, profit, technology, procedures and documents. Often MIS are much
different from standard information systems because they study other information systems that are related
to the operational tasks in an establishment. It is highly important for an organization to understand what
MIS they need in order to remain competitive in the industry. Secondly, it is important for an organization
to have a MIS which will promote both short term and long-term organization goals. Domino´s started out
small - with just one store in 1960.Now, Domino´s Pizza is celebrating over forty years of delivering
food, fun and innovation.
We each possess five senses; touch, smell, taste, sight and sound. The moment that a product reaches the
consumer these senses are going to kick in:
Touch: The quality of the packaging, the ease of getting into it and then the feel of the product.
Smell: The smell of the product (and possibly the smell of the delivery driver).
Taste: Only applicable for food or drink based goods are the taste - however there has been a
trend by retailers such as Wiggle to drop in a bag of Haribo with their orders.
Sight: The design of the product, packaging and delivery method is it through a courier or in a
store.
Sound: Finally there is the consideration of sound in the delivery experience which may include
music in store, the words that the delivery driver says or the quality of the sound from the device.
History and Introduction
History
In 1960, Tom Monaghan and his brother, James, purchased Dominick’s, a small pizza store in Ypsilanti,
Michigan, near University. The deal was secured by a $500 down payment, and the brothers borrowed
$900 to pay for the store. The brothers planned to split the work hours evenly, but James didn't want to
quit his job as a full-time postman to keep up with the demands of the new business. Within eight months,
James traded his half of the business to Tom for the Volkswagen Beetle they used for pizza deliveries. By
1965, Tom Monaghan had purchased two additional pizzerias; he now had a total of three locations in the
same county. Monaghan wanted the stores to share the same branding, but the original owner forbade him
from using the Dominick’s name. One day an employee returned from a pizza delivery and suggested the
name Domino's. Monaghan immediately loved the idea and officially renamed the business Domino's
Pizza, Inc. in 1965.
The company logo originally had three dots, representing the three stores in 1965.Monaghan planned to
add a new dot with the addition of every new store, but this idea quickly faded, as Domino's experienced
rapid growth. Domino's Pizza opened its first franchise location in 1967 and by 1978 the company
expanded to 200 stores.] In 1975, Domino's faced a lawsuit by Amstar, the maker of Domino Sugar,
alleging trademark infringement and unfair competition. On May 2, 1980, the Fifth Circuit Court of
Appeals in New Orleans found in favor of Domino's Pizza.

Suppliers: They were exposed due to the suppling of poor quality materials. And when the business falls
in crisis, Profit reduces and capital also decreases which turns out that they were not in position to pay the
suppliers on time and it causes the business when supply of material also stopped and huge conflict rose
between Suppliers and the owner of the business.
Customers: Due to bad and poor quality of Products and many complains registered against the food and
customer service of Domino’s Pizza, Customers were less interested in it and now in customer point of
view, Domino’s pizza is the worst.
Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif also acknowledged the efforts of PFA and a shield was presented
to Ayesha Mumtaz in a Cabinet meeting. Furthermore provincial government is also planning to
categorize the hotels located in Punjab according to health advisory of Punjab Food Authority.
Punjab Information Technology Board has also been ordered to produce a smartphone based application
to report unhealthy conditions at hotels and other food offering places whereas; a Toll free number (0800-
0234) is already functioning in this regard.
