Where Do I See Myself In 5-10 Years?

This question I struggle with, thinking of the future and where I see myself is hard. Five years
can easily go by fast, but on paper it was a challenge. Talking about the present is much
easier to elaborate. We never really know the outcome. Setting new goals in place to become
more successful. Where I see myself in five to ten years I don’t really know. I can honestly
say if I was asked this question during an interview I would fail. I haven’t really given it
much thought. Now imagining five to ten years from now I have passed all my trimester and
graduated from Christ University. Perfected a good enough resume to land a job as a System
and Operations Manager.

In ten years from now I will be 35 years old and everything else is just a fantasy. By 27 I will
complete my degree and join back my job. By almost 30, I hope that I would be forced to get
married and prepare myself to start a family. I plan on being financially comfortable which
includes owning my own car and home. I know through-out my life I will always continue to
be close with my family, so I’m hoping that I always live in close distance of my parents. My
life five years ago is completely different from the current one. I was less stressed, working
forty hours a week. I had more time to socialize and go out with friends. Those days were
good, wasted time watching TV or taking naps. I try now to spend each day wisely to achieve
a better outcome of my future. Now I’m unemployed again and going to college twenty two
hours a week. This time seems that I start taking life seriously and making responsible and
educated choices. By 35, I plan to own my own restaurant which would serve unique dishes
for all the foodies as per their taste. Someday, I would be a CEO, established well renowned.
Balancing my family life and the professional one with all type of ups and downs of the
journey I want to see myself leading a peaceful life. Travelling being my hobby, I would love
to travel to some indifferent places every chance I get.

Lastly, all my free time I will devote to improving my skills and knowledge on various
subjects. I will travel a lot to explore the world around and learn new cultures and languages.
Hence, in ten years from now, I will be a prominent worker, an ideal family person and
merely a good human being. Even though our future is like a long, unpredictable hallway, as
long as I can, I will make everything possible to make sure that all my plans will come true.
