CLASS 2: BREASTFEEDING
Breastfeeding doesn't always come easily to new moms! Many new moms
learn to breastfeed right after childbirth while exhausted and sleep
deprived. Not only is the mom new to breastfeeding, but so is the baby! Go
into it prepared to offer yourself and the baby the best possible start!
You will learn:
★ Benefits of breastfeeding and skin to skin
★ Breastfeeding positions and holds
★ Optimal Latch
★ Getting off to a good start
★ Establishing and maintaining milk supply
★ How to know if baby is hungry, satisfied, and getting enough.
★ Trouble shooting common issues
★ Video instruction
★ How and when supplementation is necessary and how to protect
milk supply.
CLASS 3: NEWBORN
Learn baby care basics, like diapering, baby wearing, feeding, bathing
and hygiene, common concerns, sleep advice, and basic healthcare. You
will also learn safety information, including infant CPR and how to handle
other emergencies.
Includes the Hug (Help, Information, Guidance for Young Families) Your
Baby program, which teaches you to understand you newborn’s behavior.
Prevent and solve problems around a baby’s crying; establish effective
sleep patterns in babies; promote breastfeeding duration;and, enhance
parent confidence.

Childbirth Class only option- One class session- $65 for Private Class/$50
per couple for group of 2 or more
Recommended as a refresher course for moms with prior experience with
raising a baby/breastfeeding, or for moms interested in preparing for a
natural birth or VBAC.
Breastfeeding Class- One class session- $25 for Private Class/$20 per
couple for group of 2 or more
Newborn Class- One class session- $25 for Private Class/$20 per couple
for group of 2 or more
