This snow removal contract is entered into as of [Contract.CreatedDate] and shall extend for a period of
one year. The contract is by and between [Sender.Company], the Contractor, and [Client.Name], the
Client.

Scope of Work

The Contractor shall perform the following services by request and as needed:

Payment

The Contractor shall provide a monthly invoice to the Client for services rendered. Invoices shall be
estimated on a time-and-materials basis, calculated based off of the hourly rates and equipment fees in
this snow removal contract’s pricing table:

Performance
The Contractor shall make every effort to contact the customer when ice or snow is expected to
accumulate on the property listed. If the Client requests salting or snow removal services, the
Contractor shall make every effort to provide those services as promptly as possible.
Please note that services performed after hours or on holidays are subject to overtime rates.

Independent Contractor

[Sender.Company] is considered an independent contractor under the terms of this snow removal
agreement. As such, the Contractor is solely responsible for payment of their own employees’ and
contractors’ wages, benefits, taxes, and other related costs.

Assignment

from your client before subcontracting the work governed by this contract’s terms.

The Contractor shall not contract the services covered by this snow removal contract without prior
written approval from the Client.

Insurance & Liability

The Contractor agrees to maintain an active commercial liability insurance policy for the duration of this
snow removal contract. A copy of this insurance policy shall be made available to the Client by request.
Additionally, the Contractor agrees to name the Client as “additional insured” on their commercial
liability policy.
The Client agrees to indemnify and hold the Contractor harmless against any and all claims of loss or
damage, save for cases of willful misconduct or gross negligence by the Contractor, their employees, or
their approved subcontractors.

Miscellaneous

The Client acknowledges that the Contractor cannot be reasonably expected to completely prevent
snow or ice build up on the Client’s property. Furthermore, the Client agrees not to hold the Contractor
in breach of this snow removal contract should circumstances outside of their control, such as extreme
weather or national disasters, prevent them from conducting ice or snow removal services.

Acceptance

By signing below, the Client and Contractor agree to uphold and enforce the entirety of this snow
removal contract for a period of one year, ending on [Contract.EndDate].
