Approaches used in the Study:
Comments on the Paper: (brief Summary, what is the paper all about) This research is all about the internet
addiction of the student in University of the East Caloocan campus. Education is a must for every young mind,
especially in the millennial generation. As our world progresses, so does the technological instruments invented by
 mankind, and one of these inventions is the internet. The internet is a very useful thing especially in the field of
education. Years ago, only adults working in the field of technology industry are the ones using the web. Today,
however, surfing the Web has become a pastime as social and marketable as watching a movie or going to the mall.
It is observed that it can ruin lives by causing neurological complications, psychological disturbances, and social
problems.

Talk Internet Addiction (IA) among the younger population in our generation is constantly increasing as the
world improves itself. This research focuses on the internet consumption of selected students from elementary to
college, and in the UE Caloocan Campus. Using survey papers that we have provided for the respondents, this
research paper has an objective of knowing the purpose of the students in using the internet, and to get the
different opinions of the proponent about IA. Our findings lead us to conclude that the students in the University of
the East, Caloocan Campus often use the internet not only for studies but also for socializing to other people and
playing internet games which serves as their way of entertainment.
