ACCOMPLISHMENT REPORT

ACTIVITY: STRASUC CULTURE & ARTS FESTIVAL

DATE: NOVEMBER 11-14, 2019

VENUE: WESTERN PHILIPPINES UNIVERSITY, PUERTO PRINCESA CITY, PHILIPPINES

The STRASUC Culture & Arts Festival is an event that is being held on a different host SUC annually.

This 2019, it was held at the western Philippines University located at Puerto Princesa City, Palawan.

Different SUC’s from Regions IV A and B have participated very well on different events.

Students from our institution came in prepared and ready to compete on their respective events.

They arrived together with their coaches and assistant coaches, trainers, and the head of delegation Dr.

Almon Oquendo of the College of Sports, Physical Education and Recreation. The delegates form our

institution were composed of students from different colleges and satellite campuses.

The College of Nursing, is very proud of their students who were part of the delegation and had

competed with the best among other SUCs. Events that were represented by CON students were Violin

solo by Mr. Jerome Gesmundo from BSMT, Banduria Solo by Ms.Esther Victoria Tolentino, and AS PART

OF THE Cultural Dance troup who competed for Folk Dance Compatetion and for STRASUC Culture and

Arts Festival King Mr. Ed Reyvien Pascua. The participation was made special by getting a spot on the

awards and brining home medals particularly a bronze medal by Mr. Jerome Gesmundo for Violin solo,

and another bronze for Mr. Ed Revien Pascua for the Folk Dance Competition.

Their efforts as were gratefully recognized by the college dean, faculty members and the student

council.
