As an employee of Camp Sonshine, I agree to the following:

1. I agree to honor the terms of and function within the boundaries

established or implied by this Agreement, Employee Handbook (all of
which I have read and agree to abide by), Code of Conduct, Job
Description, Camp Sonshine procedures, or any other administrative
directives.

2. I will seek to maintain a close and growing relationship with my Lord and
Savior, Jesus Christ and will govern my personal conduct so as to glorify
Christ and set a positive example while at the camp and when away from
the camp grounds as a representative of Camp Sonshine.

3. I will function within the bounds of all camp rules and policies. I agree
not to smoke, drink alcohol, use illegal drugs, or participate in any other
act which contradicts the Camp Sonshine Lifestyle Agreement, rules, and
guidelines, while employed by Camp Sonshine.

4. I understand that if I am employed, my employment shall be considered

a 90 day trial period and that Camp Sonshine shall be entitled to
terminate my employment at any time without cause or prior notice,
regardless of any written or oral statements by Camp Sonshine.

5. I will maintain high standards of performance in my job as detailed in

the Camp Sonshine Training Manual. I will faithfully apply myself to
every task, whether small or large, important or seemingly insignificant,
public or private, so as to be a positive representative of the Lord
through Camp Sonshine. I will act in cooperation with all other persons
concerned. I will be flexible to rescheduling, understanding that the
nature of the camp program does not allow for a rigid schedule. I am
open and willing to accept a possible shift in my responsibilities and/or
position, which conditions occasionally demand.

6. I agree to fill out and turn in all required reports and complete required
tasks by each one’s indicated deadline. I understand that this may
include, but is not limited to, such functions as: camper birthday cards,
camper calls, activity plans, end of summer evaluations and any other
reports deemed necessary for the effective functioning of camp and its
ministry.

7. I will strive to maintain a team effort attitude as I go about performing

my camp responsibilities and in my relationships at my summer place
of residence. If I encounter a problem with another person, I will in a
Christian spirit of love, approach my brother or sister personally and
privately, without any other previous mention of the matter to anyone
else, and seek to resolve the problem. If the problem is not resolved,
I will then go directly to a Camp Director to seek help in solving the
problem. Only the person involved and Camp Director will ever be
approached. In this way, I will guard the Lord’s testimony through Camp
Sonshine from becoming involved in gossip, which can only do harm to
the Camp Sonshine team spirit.

8. I understand that if I fail to fulfill the full terms of this agreement after
having signed it, or choosing to leave the employment of Camp
Sonshine for any reason prior to Sunday, August 12, 2018 at 1:00 PM,
that I release any unpaid wages and/or travel reimbursements back to
camp to pay back and/or cover expenses incurred by camp on my
behalf, including but not limited to: outstanding snack shack balances,
background check costs, training expenses, travel fees, and
administrative costs, etc.
9. I understand that my salary is for the full term of this contract but Camp
Sonshine has chosen to pay me in smaller installments throughout the
summer. I understand I will receive my final paycheck only after all
reports, forms, evaluations and other required paperwork/duties/tasks
have been completed to the satisfaction of the camp administrators as
outlined in advance.

10. I understand that all Camp Sonshine employees are hired for general
camp staff positions and that at any time my position may be changed
and my salary may be adjusted accordingly.
