Subject Conduct of the 2019 Study on the Employment of TVET

Graduates

The 2019 Study on the Employment of TVET Graduates (SETG) is a tracer

study that can provide information on the employment outcomes of our graduates after
their involvement in TVET programs. The results of the study will serve as a tool in
determining policy recommendations to guide TESDA in its planning and policy
making functions for the whole TVET sector. The completion and results of the study
is equally critical in TESDA's performance commitments in the GAA and reports to the
oversight agencies.

The Planning Office will conduct the survey through phone interview and/or
online data collection. This survey methodology is cost-efficient and effective in
reaching our sampled graduates fairly quickly over a wide geographic area. Trained
enumerators will ask questions in a uniform manner, promoting accuracy in eliciting
responses.

You are enjoined to disseminate the information of this endeavor to the

Provincial Offices, TTIs as well as with our partner TVET providers. In addition, the
2019 SETG infographic should be uploaded, displayed and "pinned post" in your
respective webpages and official social media accounts leveraging on the advantage
of the internet and the social media platform. The survey will run from October to
December 2019.
