 Robyn to go to Casse Popular on Provencher (Lyndsey to send letter)
 Lyndsey to apply for RBC grant
 Walter to write letter for Lyndsey RBC application

 224 Bertrand appeal outcome and board of adjustments submission


o Result of the appeal: successful, confirmed by letter
o Unclear on what appeals court has approved or what the city wants; 5, 6 or 7 parking spots
o Walter motions that the board support the appeals committee conclusion that 224 be designed
with 6 spots and that city admin work with developer to find a way to accommodate the back
yard space. We reject the submission by Winnipeg services to the board of adjustment.

 Towers Realty project on Dollard


o We don’t know much more
o Several residences have already been purchased 6 months ago
o Initially wanted to take 5, now they have 7/8
o Client is not sure what they want, but does not want a parkade. Has indicated they will come to
us first.
o Walter to write a letter
o Decision on how to proceed to be determined

o No yellow sign, therefore, if being torn down they must be being rebuilt under exact same
code/zoning
o Jordan provided more info via email: there is an open construction permit for a new detached
garage, new three story side-by-side duplex with porch

 Solar lights project in Norwood


o Matt Allard – effort to reduce crime
o Lyndsey motions to write a letter to Matt Allard with Tom Scott’s questions

o Next to apartment and other several family houses
o 3 story 6 plex
o 1:1+visitor parking
o OSBRA to be invited to meeting Sept 5
o Sept 18 submit to city

Side note: OSBRA to be invited to study to develop planning guidelines by Paragon

 700 Saint-Jean Baptiste (advice)


o Paragon is looking at the property
o No French signage due to complications in city acquisition
o City wants to demolish
