Dear Sir/Madam;
Greetings and thank you for the partnership with your School!
Work Immersion is one of the course requirements mandated by department of education for graduation
of our Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics students. A Senior High School student has to
undergo minimum forty (40) hours Work Immersion or as required to suited Partner Institution that
directly relates to the student’s postsecondary goal and to become familiar with work-related
environment related to their field of specialization. Specifically, through work immersion the students
should be able to: (i)gain relevant and practical industrial skills under the guidance of industry experts and
workers; (ii) appreciate the importance and application of the principles and theories taught in school; (iii)
enhance their technical knowledge and skills; (iv) enrich their skills in communications and human
relations; and (v) develop good work habits, attitudes, appreciation, respect for work. These prepare them
to meet the needs and challenges of employment or higher education after graduation.
The above mentioned students shall report half day (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday morning) and
8 hours anytime within 6AM to 5PM every Wednesday, wearing the prescribed uniforms with school ID
and required personal protective equipment at all times. Any of the Work Immersion Teacher (Mr. Chevy
Cayetano, Ms. Amina Gabriel) shall visit them for monitoring and technical assistance purposes while the
Partner Institution’s designated Supervisor is expected to provide job-site orientation, job interview, plan
of activities, supervision, monitoring, and technical assistance as deemed needed for teaching and
learning purposes. Issuance of Certificate of Completion, rating Individual performance and daily time
record from your company’s end is highly expected too after completion of Work immersion.
