Hello,
Checking to see if CPD has received the results back from the state testing of the device found in the possession of
Robert Jamal Pryor for an article I am working on. Has it been determined what the device was? Was it explosive?

During a consented search of the vehicle, CPD’s explosives detection K-9 alerted his handler
to a suspicious device.
Surrounding streets have been closed off as a precaution, however, there is no immediate
threat or danger to public safety at this time.

Please put dori.zook@ymail.com on the email list to avoid problems in the future. At no point has this personal address
sent anything to junk clutter. We can't afford to miss news releases, assuming that's what went out. We have no clue at
this point.

Thanks, Tyler,
Might you send out a quick email prior to a briefing such as this? We don't have personnel to stake out a scene all day
and such would be extremely helpful.
Thanks.
Jay

Are there any more details about what’s going on Sycamore/Locust/Poplar? I saw the tweets went out
about the streets being closed and I’ve let our reporters know about them (since I’m the only one in the
