Good morning everyone.

My name is Khairul Azzam Dewandra

I’m in fourth grade.

Before I start, thanks to Allah for providing physical and spiritual health,
so we can gather together in this room.

Have you ever heard about Abu Nawas before?

Ok, if you want to heard it again, please listen to me

The tittle is :

ABU NAWAS PERSUADE GOD

Once upon a time lived an Islamic poet and his named was Abu Nawas.
He’s a legend, he was known as a writer and humorous poet. He was
born in the city of Ahvaz in the country of Persia.

He has a lot of students and among his many students, there was one
person who almost always asked why Abu Nawas said this and that. One
time there were three guests asking Abu Nawas the same question. The
first person started asking:

" O, Abu Nawas, Which one is better, those who commit big sins or those
who commit small sins?"

"People who commit small sins", answered Abu Nawas.

"Why?" Said the first person.

"Because it's easier to be forgiven by God," said Abu Nawas.

The first person was satisfied.

The second person asks the same question.

" O, Wise Man, Which one is better, those who commit big sins or those
who commit small sins?"
"People who do not do both," answered Abu Nawas.

"Why?" Said the second person.

"By not doing both, certainly does not require forgiveness from God," said
Abu Nawas.

The second person was also satisfied.

The third person also asks the same question.

"Which one is better, those who commit big sins or those who commit
small sins?"

"People who commit big sins", answered Abu Nawas.

"Why?" Said the third person.

"Because Allah's forgiveness to His servant, comparable to the magnitude

of the servant sin", answered Abu Nawas.

The third person accepted Abu Nawas's reason.

Then, the three men returned feeling satisfied with their answere’s.

Because one of his student doesn’t understand, he asked Abu Nawas.

"O, Teacher, why can the same question produce different answers?"

"Humans are divided into three levels. Eye level, brain level and heart
level. "

"What is the level of the eye?" Asked the student of Abu Nawas.

"The little boy who saw the stars in the sky. He said the star is small
because he only uses eyes ", replied Abu Nawas supposing.

"What is the level of the brain?" Asked the student of Abu Nawas.

"Smart person who sees the stars in the sky. Said the star was big
because he was knowledgeable, "answered Abu Nawas.

"Then what is the level of the heart?" Asked the student of Abu Nawas.
"An intelligent and understanding person who sees a star in the sky, he
still says that the star is small even though he knows that the star is big.
Because for people who understand there is nothing big compared to the
Greatness of God ".

Now Abu Nawas’s student begin to understand why the same question
can produce different answers. He asked again.

"O teacher, is it possible for humans to persuade God?"

"Maybe." Said Abu Nawas

"How?" Asked Abu Nawas’s student curious.

"By seducing Him through praise and prayer."

"Teach me that prayer, O Teacher", asked Abu Nawas’s student.

"The prayer is :

“O my Lord, I do not deserve to be a denizen of heaven, but I will not be

strong against the heat of hellfire.”

“Therefore, accept my repentance and forgive my sins. For verily You are
the One who forgives big sins.”

Abu Nawas's student were so impressed by the words, till he expeled the
tears.

From this story we can learn that only God who Has the Greatness and
power. Nothing can be compared to His Greatness. We are the servants
who are hoping for Allah’s mercy.

Ok, I think that’s enough, thank you for your attention. See you later for
listening the next story ..
