My proudest accomplishment in life that has undoubtedly changed my very fundamentals

and mindsets is a program called Noah’s Ark. Noah’s Ark allows for individuals with disabilities

to partake in community theater productions such as Wizard of Oz, Seusical, and Annie.

Working as the program coordinator allowed me the life-changing opportunity to meet

and work with the brightest, liveliest, kindest, and gentle-hearted men, women, and children that

have taught me exceptional life lessons. My duties to these individuals was to provide emotional

support, and physical aid to those who require the help. I would arrive early and stay longer at

rehearsals to run over routines, costume changes, and lines. I would be backstage during every

performance and aided the director in relaying messages to the Noah’s Ark organization.

Working with Noah’s Ark has shown me the effects of volunteering for a community that

has taught me so much. Since then, I have contributed my time with National Honors Society

with plans to run for Treasurer, Freshman Mentoring Programs, and reading to kindergarteners at

local elementary schools.
